My partner and I decided to elope we instantly fell in love with the Moonshadow Villas run away bride package, I sent an email to inquire the best time to go, whether our daughter could be included in the package and whether a bridal hair and make up service could be provided - 3 questions...that's it! I called the following... More

We stayed in the Rainforest Villa for about 4 days. We had 2 small dogs and when we arrived in darwin (earlier than expected) it was a Sunday, and apparently nobody answers their phones on a Sunday? Moon shadow was the only place available. We were a bit hesitant to pay the price, it seemed a bit too much. But... More

I can completely echo the sentiments of the last reviewer here, although I actually did go and stay & had a lovely time. I am afraid the beauty of that weekend has been completely overshadowed by the absolutely appalling and disrespectful admin system. It took about 10 calls, 15 emails to confirm my booking in the first place (to be... More

There have been posts before now about poor booking practices at Moonshadows Villas. My experience is just the most recent. I've spent two weeks trying to book for six nights in July 2014. I applied initially using the link on the website and followed up with a phone call the same day - Moya assured me there was availability, the... More

Moonshadow villas are a haven in every sense, we enjoyed over two weeks at Moonshadow and although on the fringe of the CBD, we found that a bonus, so quiet. The garden is tropical and private, and the pool, shaded and cool. The accommodation is spacious and with everything you need for short or longer stay. Peter and Moya have... More

We stayed earlier this year and it is lovely but for the expense should be. There were little things that for the price were not what they should be I.e breakfast a selection of Kellogg's cereals and bad supermarket bread. The owners are nice and helpful but really focussing on adding all those extra special touches that people talk about... More

We lived at 'Moonshadow Villa's for almost a year in 05/06. This IS the BEST accommodation I have ever stayed in. The magic and serenity of this property is unforgettable. We truly rave about Moonshadows in all our Darwin stories. Moya and Peter's attention to detail and maintenance of the property were flawless. They were extremely warm, approachable and a... More

5 STAR and GREEN STAR Accredited Less than one minute to Darwin City. Stay in a Rainforest less than a minute by shuttle or car to the city centre or an easy to medium walk Our goal is to give our residents a true 5 STAR tropical experience. The 5 villas are award winning, architect designed and unique accommodation. Every villa has direct pool access and its own al fresco dining area and verandas with private gardens and courtyards. The property has wild-life and birds and has been designed to be part of nature - it is not a soundproofed concrete structure.
