Certainly the best hotel in Uluru with luxury tents spread facing the Rock. Great service throughout. Excellent accommodation with fly nets and water bottles provided for the day trips. The air condition had difficulty to cope with the heat particularly during the day. Nice and warm guest center with a reading room, a lounge and the restaurant. Great to meet... More

Longy is Australian luxury. Great food with relative simplicity and honesty to let the qualities of the local produce shine through. Wine and refreshments are high quality, generously offered and diverse, again with a deliberate focus on Australian product. Service is similarly honest, warm and genuine. This is not the place for saccharine sweet US style, tip-driven service, nor the... More

We were at longitude 131 during the first week in January. 1) the guided tours were good with plenty of refreshments during and after the tour. 2) the location and the views were breath taking although they had to cancel the dinner under the stars due to thunder storms . ( it happens quiet frequently during these months ) 3)... More

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay. So glad you enjoyed the signature experiences, your time in tent and the spectacular location. Of course we'd like to address the other elements raised. Regarding the request for ice cream, by way of background, this was made at Table 131, our starlight dining event which takes place in... We stayed for 2 nights from the 26th December. We had 4 trips out and enjoyed them all. During each trip we had food and drink served towards the end-having a cocktail (made fresh) at the foot of Uluru was great fun! Infact everywhere we went, staff were on hand with cold towels, drinks, food etc. The guides were great... More

This was an experience of a lifetime. The iconic Uluru lived up to expectations and Longitude 131 exceeded them. The accommodation was excellent and the atmosphere superb. The staff are really exceptional and provided service of the very highest quality, whether serving in the restaurant or guiding the tours around Uluru. The chef is highly innovative in the approach he... More

We stayed 2 nights, 3 days at Longitude 131 during our two week vacation in Australia. I was hesitant to book this hotel at first, as it seemed rather expensive, but I am so glad that we decided to "splurge" on this part of our trip. The only regret we have, is not staying longer! The staff at Longitude 131... More

Longitude 131 is an amazing location - fantastic views of Uluru and a beautiful setting in its own right. The food was excellent and you are never short of anything to eat...even on the excursions....ditto for the beverages!! We stayed three nights and occupied two "tents" - we all thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The service was exemplary -... More

December is not high season at Uluru. It is hot, more than 42deg in the day. But it is a wonderful dry desert heat, and it did not feel like one was roasting. But it was a superb season to visit. We experienced sunshine, dry heat, thunderstorms, lightning, rain. We saw waterfalls cascading off Uluru, as we lunched at the... More
