i wanted to spend my birthday somewhere that I would always remember and Longitude 131 certainly fit the bill. The location is superb with Uluru outside your picture window. The service is first rate with friendly and knowledgeable guides and support staff. The tours are amazing. We felt that we should have stayed longer just to actually fully appreciate the... More

This is an extraordinarily hospitable lodge in an extraordinarily inhospitable--hot, dry, and desolate--landscape. The magnificent Uluru and the incredible Longitude 131 are the two best reasons to come here. The wonderful and friendly staff, as well as the sumptuousness of the lodgings, make a trip to what feels and looks like a suburb of Hell seem like a smart thing... More

Uluru is an amazing place. Yes, it can be very hot with many pesky flies, but, the beauty of Ayers Rock at sunrise and sunset can only be seen to be believed. Then, at night, the most amazing sky! The Milky Way and the Southern Cross is worth the trip alone. Throw in 5 star accommodations at Longitude 131, dining... More

Longitude 131 is divine. Luxurious rooms with huge, soft beds look straight out to Uluru. Impressively knowledgeable guides preach utter respect for the rock and its traditional owners. Nothing is too much trouble for well-trained staff. Food is exceptional – fresh, creative, utterly delicious. If you have the means to see Uluru in this kind of style, be assured that... More

Amazing! The "tent" is absolutely perfect, warm and inviting while open with a view of Uluru. The food was fabulous, my husband has a nut allergy, they had a printed menu just for him, with his name own it. The highlight for me was the dinner under the stars. No TV and you won't miss it, but they did tuck... More

Please note this is a corrected review. I raved about how great this place is, and accidently gave it all ones instead of all fives. Sorry for any confusion. Our stay at Longitude 131 was perfect. The food was incredible. Beautifully presented, nuanced flavors, interesting combinations. Literally, just perfect. The accomodation was also lovely, with views of Uluru out the... More

We stayed 2 nights and it was perfect. From the moment, we were picked up at the airport to our drop off, we were very well taken care off. The rooms with the view of Ayers Rock from the bed were fantastic. We had asked for a room in the front row and got it. It was locate further from... More

I am not, and I do not take kindly to be treated as one. Especially when this hotel is THE most expensive of our trip. The room was lovely. The girl that met us at Ayers Rock airport was deceptively sensible, she drove us to Longitude, all good so far, I should have taken note of the PA system in... More

Dear Bobbydanger (Sir!) As the owner of the Lodge, I was incredibly disheartened to read your damning, pompous yet colourful review, which is so different to the perception of our other guests. It’s almost as if you stayed at a different property, or perhaps you got a touch of the intense summer sun – who knows, however, you certainly didn’t... More

We spent our 40th Wedding Anniversary at Longitude 131 and it was well worth the price! The view from our room was amazing with an uninterrupted view of Uluru. There is nothing better than waking up to the sunrise over Uluru. The staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble and the tour guides were very informative and friendly.... More

My wife and I spent 2 days at this fantastic resort in March - words can't describe our experience. Simple but beautiful rooms with stunning views of the Rock. The food was so good it was scary. The service was out of this world and the tour guides the best we have ever seen. The area is so spectacular and... More
