We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and during our stay everything was so special - including our dinner for 2 under the stars!!! The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, greeting us by name and taking a great interest in us. The staff are to be congratulated on their professionalism. The food was glorious... Individual tented rooms with your own view of Uluru Excellent food, attentive staff and a selection of excursions, but be prepared for early mornings - 06.30 starts - for the best of the day. Helicopter trip out to Watarrka was a treat - go for it if you have time and cash!

My partner and I stayed at Longitude 131 in August 2014 and had a fabulous 3 night stay there. Luxurious tents, exceptional location, delicious food and wines, superb walks around the base of Uluru and Kata Tjuta and happy courteous staff make this place the one to choose. Pricey but worth it.

Stayed for a couple of days towards the end of two weeks in Oz. Simply excellent in every way, big and small. The big things? Views, food, tents/rooms, staff, warm and welcoming atmosphere, organization, the range of opportunities to see Uluru and Kata Tjuta, and the truly inclusive nature of the room rates. The small things? Super friendly people, attention... More

We have just returned from 2 nights at Longitude 131. We visited as a family of 4, including 2 children aged 11 and 13 years. We have been wanting to visit Uluru for a long time and when we heard that the Baillie Lodges had taken over we couldn’t wait to come. The resort itself is right in the heart... More

Longitude 131 is a glamorous facility outside the Uluru National Park. The tents all face Ayers Rock - you have a magnificent view from your bed. The service is outstanding. All employees are friendly and the response from any request is always "yes". Food is wonderful - the chef creatively uses seasonings in the dishes. Wine pairings are offered with... More

We stayed 2 nights at Longitude 131 (one night more than Prince William and Kate spent). This is a very expensive hotel. It was the most expensive place we stayed during our 2 months of traveling in this area of the world. We arrived by bus, after a 6 hour ride from Alice Springs. I wouldn't recommend doing that, as... Dear Hedo-goer, Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay at Longitude 131. The lodge’s front-row position with direct views to iconic Uluru is unparalleled and we are pleased you found your luxury tent a comfortable retreat from which to survey the spectacle. Unfortunately we were not made aware during the booking process that an accessible tent was required,... More

There's no denying this is not c cheap place to stay but after returning home from our 3 night stay I can say that this was an amazingly good experience. We arrived mid afternoon and were met at the airport, then back for champagne in the Dune House then more drinks and canapes watching the sunset on the rock at... More

Lovely hotel, the staff are amazing, they all knew our names after 30 minutes. They made us feel very welcome. The rooms and the view are perfect, yes it's pricey but once there you don't really need to spend anything so it's not overly expensive. They made a huge effort for my wife's birthday but kept it very low key... More
