The rate quality/price is very good (in Yulara all Hotels are so expensive, and it is the cheapest one). The bungalow is a complete apartment with two bedrooms and a dinning-room/kitchen, where you have all you need. It has air-conditioning, an indispensable object in the center of the desert. It is located near the Uluru Rocks (15 km more or... More

The cabins were small and plain but clean. The campground had a nice quiet, back to nature aura. The showers were warm and clean. For a remote area, this place was perfect. Walking distance to stores and attractions. A good fifteen minute drive to the actual Ayers Rock. The rock doesn't seem like much but it is well worth a... More

I'd rate our entire stay at Ayer's Rock Resort as very good - the resort village was good, and staff were very helpful. Restaurants and bars in the hotels are great (but you can expect to pay exorbitant prices given the location). However, the campground was really just an average caravan park. Never having been to the red centre before,... More

We were very lucky to find the campground via TripAdvisor and then even luckier when we rang up and got 4 nights for the price of 3. Cabin was very basic, quite run down but it had everything we needed, maintenance is obviously an issue. Outr curtains didn't close in the bedroom - we reported this and was told no... More

We did not enjoy this park at all. Shower/toilet block was grotty, the pool had no shade and being in the middle of the desert you'd think the pool might be at least partly shaded to provide protection from the sun!! We mentioned we were traveling in a camper trailer and we were given a gravel site. This and no... More

It's obvious this place is government funded and built, and boy does it show. It's like a pop up town in the middle of no-where. Huge park with good facilities and info, shops, hotels, restaurants etc. Price was reasonable enough and you can use the hotel pools and gym, I thought it was going to be more as it's the... More

We used a motorhome for out Oz overland ecperience and therefore needed to park at camp sites with water and electricity. The camp grounds at Yulara are jam packed so make sure to book well in advance. Also make sure you request a space with a concrete slab otherwise the sand gets into your motorhome. The staff were friendly enough... More

Uluru was all we hoped for and more. We all loved connecting with the rock, it's stories and history. But the campground was disappointing. Grass sites were good and the camp kitchen was well equipped, particularly with fridges, but the bathroom facilities were very poor. Dirty, poorly maintained and generally uninviting. Nice to have a pool but too many bugs,... More

If your thinking of camping you wont have too much to worry about with this place! The price to camp is reasonable, the plots of land are ok. There are fridges and freezers and good shower/toilet facilities. The only thing stopping this place from getting five stars was the staff! On the whole they were ok but they did just... More

Horrible horrible beds in the cabins, moth eaten curtains, weird smell. Only good things were the aircon and the bathrooms. The shame is, they could be so much better - just keep the standard the same as ANY other campground cabin in Australia and they would be 1000000xs improved. The Owners must have a "what else choice" do the consumers... More
