Uluru is such a special place to visit & it attracts lots of people - but the only choice for camping is at Ayers Rock Campground & I just think they buckle under the pressure.. It starts with the line up to "check in" - was out the door and took about 1 hour! We were put in the "overflow"... More

This camp site is reasonably priced for the remote and iconic location, especially considering that you get access to all areas of the resort: Pools, Hotel (pub), Shops, Restaurants. The Camp Ground has its own sunset viewing platform overlooking Uluru. We stayed 6 nights on a powered site which was level and spacious, and got a good deal with one... More

It's not the cheapest campground I've ever stayed in, but you do have to take the location into consideration. We were a group of 4 travelling in two vehicles, so we booked 2 sites in the unpowered section and were given 2 spacious pitches side by side. The campground is well laid out and even in the peak season it... More

Very well organised Campground, staff friendly and informative, sites level and spacious, amenities are cleaned daily but could be cleaned better we felt, it seems like they use backpackers and no one is checking the quality of their work. There are well lit BBQ's and under cover outdoor seating beside.

After booking for two sites months ahead for our group, we were told there were no available sites together. After scouting around, there appeared to be a few large sections of grass, but on offering this alternative to the staff, was told those areas where off limits. We had to split up and one group ended up on a sloping... More

Ayers Rock Campground is a well set out park and has been designed to house motorhomes, campervans and some camper trailers in one area on compacted sites, with grassed areas for powered and un-powered sites with a small amount of camper vans etc where housed. The powered sites were set out differently, for example our powered area was rather spacious;... More

I was disappointed with the maintenance of the park. showers had no hooks if they did they were broken, mirrors which had been broken were not replaced, shower floors just get mopped and not scrubbed.all showers had brown residue such as soap scum and body fat adhered to the floors. All toilet bowls were not cleaned properly, although the top half of the... More

We camped here for five nights on a beautiful grassy site as a base for our first experiences of Uluru and Kata Tjuta (the Olgas). Considering camping is rightly prohibited in the National Park, this was the best possible location for access to these sites. Amenities were excellent and the whole complex of Yulara with its shopping centre, hotels, restaurants... More

we had a good stay and enjoyed the camping grounds and its serene surroundings ... the cabin is very good for families or a group of 8 people ... only comment is the bathroom facilities could use more of a refurbish otherwise it is okay..

We recently stayed at the campground with our family in some of the small cabins that they have. The cabins are very small but more than adequate given that you'll be out most of the time. The camp facilities are very good and the toilet blocks clean with plenty of facilities. The queue for checking in can get very long... More
