For budget end of accommodation, this was very good. I was nervous of what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised I don't think the official website does it justice. It's located on the main resort, two cabins together, you walk into a kitchen/ siting area with TV, then off that a 1double bedroom and other side another room with 2... More

We stayed in one of the self-contained cabins. Lots has already been said about the size of the cabins and yes, when there are 5 adults in there, space is at a premium. Having said that, they are clean and the best value considering the location and the alternatives for accommodation at the rock. Each cabin has a 6 seater... More

Travelled with a school group and despite not being given the site we wanted, we managed to fit all the kids in. The best thing about this place is that even after 100 people have been through the showers before you, there is still hot water. Camp kitchens are great.

We decided to camp at the Campground because cabin prices were outside our budget and that decision proved to be a very fortuitous one. We hadn't booked ahead and were willing to take whatever we could get. On arrival we asked for a powered camp site for three nights. The lady checking us in then advised that they had a... More

We had booked 2 cabins to sleep 12 people, adults, and was assured this was not a problem. On arrival we found that the cabins were only big enough to swing a kitten, not a full grown cat. Two people ended up camping to allow a bit more room in the cabins. They would be fine for a family with... More

Camping is the best way to experience the Australian Outback. Yes you can rough it out in a dirty overpriced cabin but why would you when it is the modern era & sleeping rough isn’t necessary. Staying in a hotel is nice but air-con & carpet kill off most of the Outback’s lure as an exotic place. Today’s standard cheap... More

check in was easy, we had rung and booked ahead. Mountains of information given and advice. the park is neat and spacious. All amenities clean. The price is very reasonable, and a free bus runs all day around the resort to get you to shops, free shows all day, every day. The shops have everything you could need at very... More

We camped with a group of 18 RVs and each of our powered sites were large and comfy. The facility block was always clean with plenty of hot water. The office will help you arrange a heli flight or any of the many options in the area. Love that the resort shuttle picks up right at the office! Nice viewing... More

This expensive campground is below expectations. Powered tent sites are not marked out or controlled, so it's a bit of a free-for-all to even get within coo-ee of a power point. There were no lights working over the only washing up sink in the one and only camp kitchen, and no lights on paths around the amenities blocks. The lights... More

We stayed at yulara camping ground which is very organised . Staff are great with anything asked of them they do and organising trips. We booked a cabin at a $160 per night . The price didn't worry me as I was expecting that. But ! The cabin is very shabby, mattresses are dirty, floors are terrible, the cabins need... More
