We had an unpowered site for 4 nights (stayed only 3 as camped in a bush on a way to Kings Canyon). All the comms (emails & phonecalls) with the reception prior to our arrival were very amicable and professional. Very helpful in giving basic information regarding Uluru, food shopping, times, prices, tour info etc. etc. This is the only... More

We stayed 2 nights and it has been the most expensive powered site the whole holiday. There is no competition which allows them to charge so much, they could upgrade the amenities and the actual camp site as well as it is just red dirt which wasn't level and there is no view of Uluru from the site unless you... Stayed 2 nights in a powered site in July 2014. We had pre booked our site 4 months in advance as we knew that the place would be busy during school holidays. Check in was smooth but slow. Our site was small and not level at all and we watched people check in after us with no booking at all... More

We stayed in a pre-booked caravan site with power and water. The nearby facilities block was one of several scattered around the very large and busy park. Ours was in constant use and just adequate. Three over-large hand basins were crammed into a narrow space outside the toilet cubicles so people had to squeeze past. Washing up sinks in camp... More

We arrived a day late & as a consequence lost our powered site booking, however, there was no charge for the night lost & both camper trailers were accommodated in the overflow area. We still able to access all facilities at an extremely reasonable rate - $10. Per night. An excellent location to base yourself for Uluru & Kata Tjuta.

Although busy, this campground was very well kept. The facilities were easily accessible (multiple shower and toilet blocks) and the camp grounds themselves were grassy and comfortable. There is plenty of room for children to run around and the pool, although cold, was safe for them to swim in. Staff in reception were very helpful and friendly. Daily events such... More

This was a great site. Great areas and parking. Good cooking facilities and toilets and showers. Park for the kids. A stones throw from Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Was a reasonable price. We went, four families with kids. And the children had a ball. I have a few negative comments, but do not let them put you off, it is... More

I normally don't write bad reviews because everyone has different tastes and expectations but...this place needs some fixes! I understand you are a long way from the city and don't expect much, but I have stayed at plenty of places around the world and paid cheaper for nicer places. The toilet/bathroom areas and our cabin need upgrades (new beds, new... More

For budget end of accommodation, this was very good. I was nervous of what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised I don't think the official website does it justice. It's located on the main resort, two cabins together, you walk into a kitchen/ siting area with TV, then off that a 1double bedroom and other side another room with 2... More
