We stayed here 4 nights in April, 2 adults, 1 child and a baby. Cabins are small, but you don't spend much time in them so does not matter, has a small kitchenette, table and outside table and chairs under cover. No bathroom. Campground has a pool, which when we stayed was overcrowded so we went to the pool at... More

Spacious, well laid out park, with just the right amount of red dirt to make it a genuine desert experience while still being clean and comfy. Yes, you'll get woken by the people going to see sunrise on the rock, but the disturbance (and most are considerate and keep noise to a minimum) is brief and after all, seeing the... More

After a 4 week trip through central Australia, this camp ground has to be the worst we have ever experienced. Overcrowded, noisy, poor facilities and expensive! • Powered camp sites are not allocated. • No hot water • Lights not working in amenities • Diesel Generator running all night in the background • Expensive In short it’s an absolute disgrace!

We stayed here for 2 nights with our 4 and 1 year old. The camp kitchen was great and the bathrooms were really nice but had no hot water every time we went (varied between 3pm and 6am) which was a pain as it was freezing when we were there! The big groups of school kids were a bit noisy... More

This was our second stay in this caravan park and we have enjoyed it both times. Our powered site had a cement slab which helped a bit to stop the annoying red dust from getting into the caravan. Amenities were clean and the staff very friendly. Don't wear white clothes as they will be red in no time!

Unfortunately the shower block kept running out of hot water. Sites crowded and noisy pre-dawn as half the site left to see sunrise. During our stay, the campground contained 1700 people - but is designed for 600.

Pros: bathrooms basic but clean, shuttle bus is great, pool was good, kids liked the playground. Cons: kept running out of hot water, very small sites, quite noisy at night. Quite an expensive park for the facilities you get.

On our family (2 adults, 3 teenagers) holiday to Red Centre in June 2015. . Chose a cabin at Campground to keep cost down. Rooms and apartments at resort are far more expensive and would need two rooms with 5 people. These cabins sleep 6. Very tight fit, only simple kitchenette. Bathroom block a short 50m walk. You don't spend... More

We stayed here for five nights. If you pre book a powered tent site you should end up with a nice grassy spot. If you have a camper trailer or caravan you will end up with a dirt site. If you don't book you will also end up with a dirt site. Camp kitchen is well equipped and bathrooms are... More
