We stayed in one of the suites which was recently refurbished and it was just magnificent. No complaints at all. The room was fresh and light, connecting to a second room for the kids. Wonderful all the way round. As you might expect for a five-star hotel placed in the middle of the desert, the room and food pricing was... More

The property is very nice, the hotel is very well organized, very helpful staff who recommended us to rent a car which was a very good idea and it gave us more freedom. We could have stopped anytime and take pictures, record the sunset with The Rock and so on.

I experienced nothing but excellent service from the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out. My room was ready early, my luggage was waiting for me in my room and the check-in process was also seamless due to the priority check-in organised for the event.

MY husband and I spent a wonderful time for his birthday, the room was large, and convenient. The dinner buffet was great with many choices. The reception staff friendly and efficient. The bathroom was a little dated and not very clean but i would stay there again and recommend it.

We traveled by road from Alice Springs. On arrival there seemed to be some confusion about the two room booking that we had made. The rooms were large clean and offered the promised view of the rock from the balcony. The general condition of the property suggested that it had been there for a long time and was showing signs of... More

Sails in the Desert was an amazing place to stay during our trip to Uluru! The hotel is beautiful and reflects the surroundings perfectly. The rooms are quite spacious, with plenty of room for the whole family. The bathroom was also a great size and filled with handy goodies, such as sunscreen and moisturizer. Arrival at the hotel was great,... More

This hotel is worth every cent. The rooms are spacious and excellently appointed. There was a lounging area and breakfast table with chairs, comfy bed with seven pillows as well as two baggage areas. Our bathroom had more lotions and potions than I have ever had in other hotels (including the Four Seasons in the Maldives!) and a bath at... More

My husband and I stayed one night at Sails in the Desert. Although we spent little time at the hotel, it was very comfortable, spacious, clean and conveniently located, with a very short walk to the town square. We were celebrating our anniversary during our travels to Australia and we were greeted with a quaint congratulatory note and bottle of... More

This is the 4 star hotel at the resort. There are 5 levels of hotel to say in. This is the best value I think for the money. It is not fancy and not what Americans think of as 4 star, but it is the best of the hotels in the resort. The 5 star one is set apart from... More

We stayed for 3 nights. Excellent hotel. Very friendly staff. Despite the isolated location, you had everything you wanted on a holiday. The Pool was being refurbished but that didn't matter. Breakfast was include and was excellent. Would not recommend dinner in the main restaurant unless you wanted to eat a lot of food - buffet and expensive.
