Spent two nights here both staying and eating at the restaurant. Samantha Collins made our stay a memorable one, her knowledge of the wines available was amazing and the combination with the foods she recommended made for a great couple of nights.

Having arrived from Alice Springs by plane, we were collected by coach like most people for the short transfer to the resort. We were quickly checked in to our room. It was on the ground floor near the pool, but we didn't hear any outside noise. Unfortunately the air conditioning was rather noisy when we were trying to sleep at... More

We are just about to leave this magical place and I wanted to give ( in my view) an honest appraisal of this resort and surrounds. My family of four ( children 7 and 9) shared a queen twin room on level three and found the room to be great. If you're used to five star resorts in Asia then... More

I don't even know where to begin. We dropped by the hotel on our way to the Olgas to find out what time to be back for sound of silence dinner. Flies were everywhere, the second we opened the car door we were hit. No one told to where netting, no one offered us netting, no one from Voyages emailed... More

A wonderful stay in the heart of Australia. We stayed for 3 nights late March and loved every minute of it. As others have said the resort and rooms are well maintained and the staff very helpful and friendly. Sails exceeded our expectations and walking through the resort, the facilities, different types of accommodation and dining choices provided a good... More

We booked for the first weekend of Voyages charter weekends. We were not disappointed. The resort is lovely in the midst of a desert. The staff are FABULOUS!! Friendly, obliging, conscientious. The breakfast is enough to last the day, including a rock walk. Sails in the Desert decor is understated Australian/indigenous. The rooms are spacious. Yes, the pool needs a re-tile... More

We stayed 3 nights which enabled us to do all the activities we had planned. Camel ride, helicopter, S of S dinner and a walk around Uluru. We had a 3rd floor room which had a view of the rock from the balcony. Not many of the rooms would have such a great view. The rooms were your average hotel... More

I'll try to make this short and helpful - the location is unique and amazing. The resort has a monopoly on accommodation and our experience (at "Sails") was wonderful. I think the rooms, facilities, food, decor etc are really well done. The service was fine but they did tend to miss things - we had a few simple requests that... More

We stayed for 2 days in March 2014 with American friends. As former hoteliers, our expectations are usually high. Sails exceeded these in every way. Stunning location, first rate decor in public areas and rooms and spotless rooms. Displays of fabulous indigenous art showcased everywhere, including our room. Lovely cocktails at the lobby bar and great breakfast. We found Hotel... More

The rooms are quite comfortable, but accessible from an outside corridor. Anywhere in Ayers Rock (Uluru) you will need a "fly net" outdoors. The hotel is near a small mall. I felt that the prices in the restaurant were somewhat higher than should be expected.
