This was my second stay at Sails in the Desert and it was every bit as good as I remembered. The rooms and facilities are excellent, and the meals were of the highest quality - the breakfast buffet was amazing. The staff were absolutely delightful - pleasant, polite, friendly, efficient, and so very natural. Every staff member I encountered was... More

not sure it's 5 star. Limited dining due to season and rooms clean and comfortable (great bed). Outdoor terrace needs attention as there doesn't seem to be a lot of maintenance and cleaning happening in these spaces. Enjoyed our time here but it isn't easy to get around if you have mobility issues. I checked before booking and was told... More

Every one should visit the Rock at least once in their life. The ayers rock resort is a great location. Sails has great spacious rooms with wonderful service. If I went again I would stay at a cheaper hotel at the resort as you can use the facilities from other hotels. Masked sure you visit the lookouts to watch the... More

We didn't stay at Sails in the Desert but I did use the Red Ochre Spa. It isn't cheap but it is amazing. I had Laura who was lovely and did a fantastic job! It can be very busy, particularly in high season, so book early (before you arrive if possible). I also booked another treatment when I was there... More

Claims to be what it isn't. No gym, the pool is a bit unsafe, food is below average, hotel grounds are so dark at night, room exterior is crummy although it's ok inside. They put too many pillows on your bed. Redeeming qualities are the nice, well informed staff and the buffet breakfast but I will definitely not stay again.

Spent a long weekend at Sails and came away with mixed feelings. On the good side the staff have a great culture and are all really friendly and keen to please. The rooms and public areas have been refurbished to a good standard and are very comfortable. The circulation spaces between the rooms and some of the external finishes are... More

Our room was beautiful with plenty of room and outside a lovely lounge area, unfortunately the weather was cold so we did not get to use this facility. All the staff from reception, bar, serving, cleaning and porters were friendly and attentive, all tours were booked without any fuss and we never had one problem. Our trip ran like a... More

For the younger generation you would know this place as Uluru. You must put this trip on your bucket list you will not be disappointed. We paid for the 3 night luxury package which included breakfast each day, dinner at the hotel restaurant, sunset champagne and dinner at the base of Uluru called The Sounds of Silence, and to top...
