I do realize that many people come through the hotel, but a smile and a "welcome" would have been nice. The girl who checked us in had glazed eyes set on the horizon and the rest set on "automatic". The young men we encountered later were fine. but the exitement of our arrival was taken down a few notches by... More

After experiencing many overseas holidays, we turned our sights to holidaying in Australia, in support for the Aussie tourism and local economy. What an embarrassment the resort is! Accommodation style is budget whilst spending top dollar. Rooms were only serviced (if that’s what you could call it) very late in the afternoon with clean towels only. Soap and shampoo never... We stayed here for two nights in September and the place basically met our expectations. The room wasn't fancy but it was clean and the bed fairly comfortable. Bathroom was also very clean. We had a standard hotel room with one king bed and one single bed. Our room also had a good size (but still compact) refrigerator which helps... More

I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times a month for business travel over the last 2 years. The price is high due to the location and everything (including staff) has to be imported from elsewhere. If looking at aspects other than price it probably your best bet (standard hotel room) of the various properties as you won't... More

We stayed for three nights in a standard room in June and after reading previous reviews I wasn’t sure what to expect from the Outback Pioneer Hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised. Check in staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help. Our room was very big and very clean with a double and single bed... More

We had an OK standard room. Soft towels; no free internet access.

we wanted a good standard of twin share accommodation. the room was very clean with a fantastic shower! there was an outdoor pool & extremely reception staff. our bags were collected from our tour bus & taken to our room before i even realised they were missing. on the day of checkout we were going to be on a sunrise... We enjoyed our stay, however for what you pay in our case 46 dollars pp a night it's crap. But you have to let that go when your there cause its a different world! The staff is absolutely brilliant all over the place we found. We were lucky enough to have the room to ourselves the first 2 nights we... More

During our 6 week round the world trip this was the most expensive rate per night ! However if you treat the room as a base only then it was fine, its the experience of visiting Ayers Rock that made it more than worthwhile. We watched stunning sunsets and sunrises, sat out and had a meal under the Milky Way... More

This is probably the middle of the road hotel at Ayers Rock Resort - but it is well set up. We didn't do it but there is a cook your own BBQ which woud be big fun if you've never done it before. There is a lovely pool and some good common areas just to hang out. The souvenir shop... More
