We have stayed here 3 times on different occasions. We will Always go back as the atmosphere is good. Service excellent and comfortable rooms. Staff are accomodating, and helpful.the rooms are Clean tidy and central to everything. They also have a common room and a kitchen where you can actually cook your own food too. Also great for backpackers.

I spend 9 nights solo at room No 217 close to the pool. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The problem with noisy air conditioner was immediately solved. Clean linen, clean room, very easy for preparing own food which I shopped at near supermarket. I would definitely recommend this place for a very affordable price. Dawns and sunset were awesome... On a recent short stay at Uluru we chose to stay at Outback Pioneer. The desk service was outstanding on checkin and checkout. The restaurants (we tried both the "Cook your Own BBQ" and the in house dining) were both excellent and good value. Great choice of beers at the bar! Although nothing is cheap at Uluru this was a... We needed a roof over our head at an affordable price for the weekend whilst staying in Yulara, and this did the job perfectly! A four (bunk)bed backpacker-style room was all we needed, and the bathroom facilities were close by. The bar/restaurant was good, with live music each night we were there (Sat/Sun), and sold reasonably priced food. The only... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, we were unlucky with the weather as he had rain the whole of the first day - not alot to do with weather like this, we went to the main sq to book for the sunset tour of the rock, and due to the weather we were unable to go to kings canyon. We... More

Hello Taylor222015 It is uncommon to come across rain when visiting Uluru, but it does make for some spectacular sight seeing as Uluru sprouts water falls that cascade down its side. Hope you were still able to make the best of your time here. Thank you for your review. Regards General Manager Outback Pioneer Hotel and Lodge More

My friends and I stayed here one night after camping in the outback for a couple days, so needless to say, it felt very luxurious to have a mattress to sleep on! Our room had two bunk beds, and we opted for the private bathroom, which was totally worth the extra money as we got pretty filthy whilst camping. The... More

to start, being the property is all there is in the area, the airport shuttles, property shuttle and tours are very organized. The room. clean, average, mini fridge, comfy beds, good shower and bath, toilet was clean but looked dingy, blow dryer, AC. There are 2 restaurants, one is a buffet and the other is 'The Kitchen' which offers pizzas,... More

We stayed in a double room with a private bathroom during our holiday to Ayers Rock. When we arrived at the airport a courtesy bus was waiting for us to take us to the Outback Pioneer hotel. The check-in process at the hotel was quick with no problems. Our room came with tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge,... More

We stayed in the Pioneer hotel, our unit was way in the back. It is a hugh complex and well organized. Very friendly staff ,ready to help or guide you along. A shuttle bus runs around the resort so it is easy to get to town center where there are a variety of shops, restaurants and a grocery store. We... More
