We stayed at the Outback Pioneer Hotel and found it to be very comfortable and it actually exceeded our expectations after reading many reviews on Trip Advisor. We booked our hotel room far in advance so had no trouble upon arrival - we did have to wait for a bit for our rooms to be ready but that gave us... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. We booked a Standard Room, it was basic but comfortable. Bathroom could have used a bit more cleaning but it was ok. Breakfast was very good. The pub here had regular entertainment and it had a great atmosphere. Food was good although a little expensive for what you got, but considering it's such a... More

We stayed at the Outback Pioneer Hotel & Lodge for 3 nights, what a location!!! Experiencing the outback through bus tours was great and so beautiful. The hotel was very very good. The staffs were great and comprehensive. I recommend this hotel to all my friends.

Sorry but Voyages seems to know they've cornered a market here and will extort every penny out of budget travellers just wanting to see an iconic Ozzie landmark. The accommodation was pathetic. I had to pay $245 to sleep in a bunk bed and have my own grotty bathroom. It honestly can't be legal. To top it off you'd think... More

Stayed here for the last couple of days (Late January). Cheapest place in the resort, further from the town centre than most other options but the resort provides a free shuttle bus. About a 10-15 minute walk through the sand to the other side to get to town. Stayed in a 20 bed female dorm. Room was spacious and air... More

We booked this hotel because we were only staying 1 night in Ayer's Rock and were using AAT Kings tours that would go late at night and start early on the following morning. We regretted that upon arrival. Many folks were waiting for rooms and we were told that we would have to wait until after the check-in time to... More

The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are very basic, but the beds were comfortable and the wifi in the room was excellent. There are no room safes. You can walk to whatever you need in the area. We ate at the main restaurant we had pizza as most of the meals were expensive. The pizza was good. We... More

Look these guys have a monopoly in effect. Add to the fact the location and you get high prices. We were on a budget so £125 room only it was. Reception fine and cheerful. Restaurant/cafe adequate. Bar good if you are drunk so you don't know where you are. Bedrooms - clean, tidy, functional, two bunk beds - reminded me... More

On a world trip we were allocated to this hotel on our visit to Uluru. Whilst the staff were friendly and helpful the accommodation provided was not ideal for us as a mature couple. I thought the accommodation tired and in need of a spruce up. The restaurant was expensive for what it offered and we ate elsewhere during our... More

The reception staff were helpful and welcoming. Our room was in the hotel part of the complex. There are backpackers rooms too. The resort was quiet when we were there. The room was clean and had all we needed for a short stay. The pool area was kept clean and there are sunbeds in the shade as well as in... More
