Stayed here for one night to visit Uluru. Nice large room with two double beds, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and sitting area. However as we were at Uluru for sunset and sunrise we did not stay in room for long unfortunately.

We were booked to stay at the hotel for two nights and thought we would be in a barrack, dorm type room but they had upgraded us to a regular hotel room. It was clean, comfortable and sufficient for our needs but not the normal deluxe type rooms in most hotels. Everyone was friendly and helpful. There really isn't much... More

Great laid back place to stay at the Rock! Hired car at airport for ease of getting around at own pace. Stayed in room 505 near enough to the pool and bar and restaurant facilities. Room good size with queen, single and rollaway - good enough for us and the kids. Room air conditioned, clean and comfortable. Serviced daily, good... More

It was our first time ever that we thought we would try a dorm room, and what a wonderful surprise we got when we were paired up with another mother and daughter of about our same age. With service like that with such a lot of people coming and staying it was amazing.

Very comfortable hotel, ideal for all activities in Yulura. There is a courtesy bus that picks you to/from the airport. The restaurant opens early for breakfasts and the food was well prepared. There is also a bar with pool tables and areas to relax whilst you wait for your tours. Good value accommodation.

Stayed in a triple occupancy room for 2 nights in September 2014. The room was located in a block away from the main buildings so was very quiet. It was clean and comfortable, and certainly met all our needs, after all it was for sleeping in, we were there to see Uluru. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, to... More

It was better than I expected from some of the previous posts. Yes, we got there at ~ 13:00 to join a long queue at reception. It moved pretty quickly and we got to our room within 30 minutes. Others next to us were not quite so lucky, with their rooms not ready. We were staying in the ‘hotel rooms’,... More

Hello libelle622 Glad to see we exceeded your expectation on your visit to Uluru. It is true that our reception has peak times at check in and also during the morning, so it is good to know the queues moved along quickly. Also credit card surcharges policies have been amended by Voyages a few months ago now so there any... More

We booked a "pay 3 nights stay 5 deal" direct with the hotel. Didn't really know what to expect but found we were in a fairly large motel type room down the back of the property. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioner worked well [important as temperatures outside were around 38C to 41C] and it was very quiet and... More

Hello Brian B The times of getting out and about that you have mentioned are spot on for the hotter months of the year in this area. We arrived in the early evening and had only a few options for places to stay. This was the last one, and given we'd driven for two days, we weren't about to argue. Room seems to be an old school classroom?!? The room had no amenities at all other than air con, the place itself is quite nice and the... More

Hello Longreach747 From your review I would think you have stayed in a 4 bed dorm, as they have very basic facilities. These are normally accommodated by individuals purchasing a bed for the night at $46.00 per night. This accommodation style is generally one of the better value options for guests as they only pay for the amount of beds... More
