Spent 2 nights here with my husband. Reception staff very cheerful and friendly even though each time a bus comes in from the airport they face a lengthy queue. Our room was ready early which was much appreciated. We had a motel style room number 911. Clean, simple and quiet. We enjoyed a swim after a day touring around however... More

Since you don't have a lot of choice when it comes to staying at Yulara, you could do worse than the Outback. This is the third level of accommodation at the park, one step up from the camping/caravan area. It's one part backpaker's lodge, one part motel. That said, it's clean, the staff are friendly, and it's convenient. As far... More

Stayed here for one night during a tour. Had to ask for my room to be re cleaned as it was still dirty from previous occupants(nothing too serious finger marks on mirrors scuffs on walls etc) The pool has chipped broken tiles and a sheen on the water and scum marks on the side . However if I was 25... More

Hello SusieSue67 Northern Territory Health inspectors frequent Ayers Rock a minimum of twice per year. They are due through again in approximately three weeks and our swimming pool has always been cleared for any health risks. Given the pools appearance is somewhat tired at the moment we had set in motion to have this area renovated last year and are... More

we ate here a number of times during our recent 5 day stay in Uluru and annoyed every night. Good service and choice of drinks, a wide range of food as the name suggests "outback" so barbecue style and friendly staff , whoops forgot and live music every night . The only down side is the cost of drink wow... More

Hello CRS61 Thanks for your comments our staff. It's a great encouragement for them to be mentioned on Trip Advisor. The BBQ Bar offers relaxed dining with entertainment and refreshingly cold beverages. I'm glad you enjoyed it during your visit. The BBQ Bar is the only venue where it is possible to purchase takeaway alcohol at Ayers Rock resort. It... More

Outback meets posh living! Great outback experience!!! They are not the fanciest or modern looking from outside but on the inside the accommodations are comfortable, clean and surprisingly modern. They are the only onsite hotel to offer both a take away bar, back packer experience but also a hotel feel. We were definitely pleasantly surprised. Their little market store also... More

Most of the hotels in this area are quite expensive. This one is a hostel that is open to people of all ages. I travelled by myself and did not want to pay the high price. I stayed in a bed in a 4-bed room. The bed was very clean and the mattress was comfortably firm. The common facilities, such... More

This is a very basic hotel, really aimed at backpackers. We were only there fore one night as part of a long tour, and wouldn't have wanted to be there any longer. The restaurant was closed, so it was burgers all round. Just about ok.

Hello sladie As per most tours that visit Ayers Rock Resort the stay is normally only 1 night. It is unfortunate that 1 night stays are too short to allow enough time to site see all the magical location that Kata Tjuta National park has to offer. Our Bough House restaurant opens seasonally. It re opened again on the 9th... More

This resort offers several different kinds of restaurants, a pool and nice, spacious rooms. There is no wi-fi out here.., nor are there safes. because it is a resort, there are a variety of room styles. Also, the resort offers a viewing platform of Uluru if you do not wish to drive out there at dawn.

Hello Bookworms2010 Our viewing platform is one of the best in the Resort complex, but I think that driving out closer to Uluru is a better overall experience as viewing this natural wonder is what most traveller come here to see. The Outback Pioneer has 3 different comfort level of accommodation available and 3 different catering options to meet everyone’s... More

Checked in, to find our room would not be ready until 3pm, we were booked on a trip at 2.45pm. The reception area was busy with backpacker sleeping on the seating areas, but we managed to get a seat on a couch. Thankfully we spoke to to the consiage, as there was now large queues at reception, as my husband... More
