Traveling as 2 couples on an AAT Kings tour, we selected the budget hotel option. Very happy that we did. The room was very clean and had all you could want. There were 2 sets of bunk beds in our room. Back to our childhood! The room opened onto the outdoors and was very quiet. We rose early to see... More

My room provided extra towels and blankets as it gets cold at nights in winter (when I went) as I didn't bring a lot and definitely none of the above so I wasn't suited for a dorm. Was surprised with a TV, fridge, bunk bed and air con which was great as was expecting just an ordinary room without amenities.... More

We were in room 408 and found this hotel just right for this location. Not to far to drive to Uluru and Olgas. Room and bed comfortable, would have liked a toaster in room. Restaurant and dining options really good. Bush setting excellent

I stayed in a standard room at the Outback Pioneer Hotel and Lodge for 5 nights. I was very happy with the choice I made to stay at this accomodation site within the resort and would happily stay here again (and honestly can't wait to return). The room was simple but had everything I needed - a comfortable bed, fridge,... More

Very unusual in that this place catered for all types of travellers from those requiring low cost to those prepared to pay. We stayed in a hotel room, and at the high end we had no complaints. But was it value for money? We stayed as part of an extensive road trip, and there were other places that provided better... More

As all accommodation in Uluru/Ayers Rock Resort, it is very expensive. So I stayed in the Lodge, in a 20 bed female only dormitory for four nights. The floor was disgusting an after the few days they did clean it, the stench of bleach was so overwhelming it gave me a headache. Also, the blankets on each bed are not... More

Can't recall staying in a hotel where I wasn't instantly billed for every item I used. A wonderful 2 nights at this hotel. On departure the Manager told me he'd make my bill a little less heavy and deducted 5 phone calls from the charge. It's a small thing but it's symbolic of the town and hotel.

I visited Ayers Rock resort with my cousin. We stayed only two nights although I wish it could have been more. I cannot praise this place enough. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. there was a woman there who was so amazing and happy and helped us out with all our questions without a worry.... More

Spent 1 night at the Outback Pioneer Motel. The rooms are advertised as 3.5 star and that is what they are - think roadside/suburban motel standard. Reasonable price compared to other Yulara properties. It is some distance from the main resort but there is a shuttle bus that travels around. Given it is a cold place at night I was... More

Wonderful hotel rooms with access to some of Australia's great outback icons! Front desk reception was very accommodating. There are several options for meals and I recommend the BBQ that you choose and cook your meal yourself. The laundry facility was very easy to use.
