I must preface this review by saying that while we were there we met a gentleman in the next room who was heading the take over team for the new owners. So hopefully they can make this place into the gem it could be. Voyages ran this place into the ground and could never stay in business if they had... more

My wife and I were on a tour bus which carried a client to this resort en route to Kings Canyon. In Eridunda, 200km earlier that morning, I had drunk a coffee and by the time we reached this resort I was in sore need of a restroom. The staff at this resort would not allow me to use their... more

We stayed in a standard room. Other people we met had a more expensive room, which included a jacuzzi where they would watch the sun set over the canyon. The room was standard, with nothing to complain about. However, it was a long way from reception, involving wheeling the suitcase a long way (about 5 min walk). The place is... more

We stayed for 1 night in a budget room with shared bathroom facilities. The room and its contents were all new and the beds comfortable. We had outdoor table and chairs which were lovely for relaxing at sunset and taking in the view. The restaurant was expensive we thought, but a picnic tea from the store was ok. Pool was... more

I have to say I liked the resort and room. It is ideally situated for the canyon which is stunning. Do the canyon walk if you can. The thing I would moan about is the food. On the first evening there was a choice of two restaurants, both with an identical menu which consisted of various Australian animals in a... more

As I mentioned in my review of the Ayers Rock Resort, this is a Voyages property and unless you want to see Kings Canyon, don't go. Seeing the canyon and hiking around the canyon was awesome and we really enjoyed it. We payed $440.00 a night for a rather large, somewhat clean, cinder block walled room. Don't let the photos... more

We had booked a budget room with shared facilities but were offered an upgrade at check-in to a motel style room for an extra $29. We paid $149 for a new looking, spacious, modern room with smart regional decor which was good value for The Centre. There was a pleasant heated outdoor pool. The cafe and barbeque bar at the... more

We had booked a Spa room for two nights but after seeing the Cafe and our room, we decided to stay only one night and return to Alice Springs where we could have a lovely room for less than half the cost of what we were paying at the Canyon. We also found the Reception Staff very off handed and... more

The room we had was dingy and had cobwebs from the lighting and stains on the blanket. Spare blanket was moth eaten. The bed valence was torn. Cafe over priced and the mini mart shop was well over priced. We decided to buy some sanwiches and few bits rather than a meal, had to struggle back to room with purchases... more
