Kings Canyon itself is beautiful. But we too found everything to be over priced and extremely expensive. Driving from Ayers Rock we experienced some fantastic views and Kings canyon itself is amazing. The resort its self is a little basic but the rooms were really well proportioned and kitted out. The view from our deck was incredible. The cost of... More

We had booked very well in advance and paid 280 AUD per night in a standard room, breakfast included. The room was clean and spacious, staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, and meals at the bistro surprisingly good.

We booked a standard room for 2 adults and 2 kids - a separate bedroom would have been great but for one night only the accommodation was fine. Temperature was 37 degrees (we are still 2 months away from summer) so the air con and the swimming pool were a great relief. We had a good meal in the bistro... More

Booked a deluxe spa room, for two nights, which was quite large and airy. The cost of the room included full breakfast for two. This inclusion made the room tariff very competitive. The room had all the necessary furnishings and was nicely decorated and painted. The bathroom was very large and clean although a bit musty smelling due to the... More

Kings Canyon itself is beautiful. Found everything to be over priced and extremely expensive. Went to the "Under The Desert Moon" which was wonderful (Dan and Annabel were absolutely wonderful). Being an international visitor I wondered why there isn't any indigenous culture tours or staff being that it is in the middle of indigenous land. My curiosity about this was... More

We stayed on a powered site and found the amenities to be very suitable and clean with plenty of hot water available for showers. The service station and adjoining shop were very expensive. Diesel was $2.50 per litre, the dearest for our entire trip. But in saying that there is a pool, BBQ, camp kitchens and a sunset worth viewing a... More

Great location, close to Kings Canyon, but the hotel itself was extremely over-priced. The room, although adequate, was very basic and expensive. The restaurant food and service was very good and not particularly over-priced. Breakfast options are limited to a continental or full buffet breakfast, with no options for a toasted sandwich or any thing small other than a pie... More

Kings Canyon is a lovely spot, with amazing views, sunsets and a great opportunity to explore an ages old natural wonder. The resort offers a range of accommodation - from very comfortable rooms to caravan options. Swimming pools, tennis courts, communal bathroom and outdoor cooking facilities are on site. There is a petrol station with mini mart, and a large... More

My only regret I did not stay two nights. Lovely peaceful location with a real feeling of being in The Outback. Great views at sunset and sunrise. The Canyon rim walk is excellent. Hotel is all it shuld be for a desert retreat. Ruth

Room was very comfy and clean. Loved the shower head in the shower and the spa was very relaxing after completing the Kings Canyon rim walk. Our room included breakfast which is self serve buffet at the nearby café and a $50 room voucher which we spent on the sparkling wine that we enjoyed in the spa. There is also... More
