The most amazing few days exceeded our expectations the food was cooked to perfection in the outdoor BBQ while it can be expensive we are in the middle of the desert so be mindful of that the restaurant gave more variety and the entree side erving sizes are very reasonable so that you can get 2 to 3 entrees or... Massively overpriced for what you get, which is extremely disappointing given that there is limited choice in the area. It feels like a missed opportunity for the owners; It could be a simple and stylish Outback experience but instead close the curtains and you could be in a cheap nasty motel anywhere in the world. Our room also stank of... More

Of an unobtrusive design, the Resort offers well-appointed and comfortable rooms allowing views to the red cliffs beyond. Quiet and more than adequate for our needs. Helpful staff on hand. The pool was a welcome relief after hot walks and was surrounded by natural grass to relax on - towels provided pool-side for guests' use. The bistro offered fresh ingredients,... More

if you are travelling in his area you are limited for places to stay, i.e. Kings Canyon Resort or Kings Canyon Resort and believe me it is not a resort. I do understand that it must be very difficult and costly to run a "Resort Hotel" so far from anywhere, but I do think that it is oversold. The prices... More

The star of this resort is the the natural environment. I couldn't do the tougher Rim walk but my (adult) kids did it easily. There are gentler walks and I experienced what I wanted to. We saw a number of lizards, birds, dingoes (1st for me) and at night the stars are amazing. Driving to Kings Canyon was a unique... More

Note – we travel a lot and rarely give negative reviews anywhere. We stayed in a Backpacker Lodge (standard room) for 2 nights. We got a bit of a shock when we first saw how little $140/night gets you here. The rooms are basic and dingy looking: 4 beds, few shelves, table/chairs, TINY fridge, TV with a couple channels, concrete... More

Very good resort, jacuzi in the room was excellent with wonderful view on Kings canyon ! the bbq restaurant was also a great experience with a nice country music and excellent kangaroo skewers and a good salad buffet.

We attempted to check in on time, but our room wasn't ready (lots of people checking out earlier, apparently), and we were told to come back around an hour later - so not the best of starts, especially after driving up from Yulara. We stayed in a standard room. From the outside they are a little uninspiring but inside the... More

We slept in the lodge. The room was tiny and felt like a cage. The air condition was central, so we had no control on the temperature and therefore the room was too hot. The pool was refreshing but dirty. The shared facilities weren't clean as well. The reason we decided to stay in the lodge was the location. I... More

We came with an AAT Kings tour and were very happy with our twin room with a small courtyard outside with table and 2 chairs. There was a smell in the rooms of rotten egg gas which we were warned in advance would be the case, due to the water I believe. This dissipated very quickly with the open courtyard... More
