It takes a day to drive here from Ayers Rock. You then have one whole day to do Kings Canyon. If your fitness allows, pack a lunch with lots of water and do the 4-5 hr rim walk down to the Garden of Eden. Coffee is good when fresh milk is available ( supplies are delivered 2x week). Breaky is... More

This place is in the middle of nowhere and had some unexpected surprises. We had a twin room which had a bed that was broken. The springs and one wall were broken and consequently I just rolled out! We complained about the bed and were moved to another room, this time an upgrade to a spa room as it was... More

My wife and I were very disappointed in the room that we were allocated. At nearly $300 per night ( no breakfast) we expected a high level of standard but this was not what we experienced. The room was disgusting, which we attributed to lack of maintenance, poor staff training and their lack of experience. Some of the things were... More

As caravaners we found the park to be relaxing and all facilities adequate especially given it's isolated location. My wife insisted we extend our stay and while not the cheapest it is the outback with all facilities. Go for it.

Whilt realising this place is very far and road transport would be expensive, did not expect to pay $19 to get a sandwich - had to make it yourself. Cup of coffee $7. This is the only hotel and they can charge anything they want - too pricy. Petrol was $2.30 per litre

We went for a deluxe spa room going by advice from others on this site. Beautiful. As one of us wasn't very well we immediately booked 2 nights. The indulgence was worth it. A spa looking out on one of the best rock gardens. Comfortable beds - huge room. We ate at the bistro and the prices were good. Lovely... More

I stayed here for 2 nights in August. The room was perfectly adequate with towels provided, coffee in room and a small refrigerator. Kitchen facilities were limited but one could rent cooking/eating utensils free with deposit. But I visited KC for the hike and it's not to be missed. The rim walk was beautiful. There is a sunset viewing area... More

Probably it is not best hotel we ever stayed in, but definitely the best in Kings Canyon :-) Friendly Service, A good restaurant with live music and real outback feeling, big rooms and the great experience of having the "Under the desert moon" dining. We had here the best steak ever!!! Kings Canyon is a must in NT. We did... More

We arrived at the resort, had a quick check in, the staff was friendly and helpfull. The standard room was big, basic but everything you need. The room and bathroom were clean. ( Only when you put on the lights then you see a lot of old cobwebs. I understand the outback and wildlife, but this was not from 1 or... More

The resort is a comfortable, friendly place to rest and dine before undertaking the 6km rim walk the next morning. We enjoyed dining in the casual Outback BBQ & Grill. There was an excellent selection of fresh salads to accompany our grill. The evening sky has to be seen to be believed. The scenery of the canyon is breath taking,... More
