We stayed here for 3 nights in July at the end of our Red Centre experience, and must say we are quite surprised that this lodge has such glowing Trip Adviser reviews. I think we were a little unfortunate to stay during peak season and were stung $700 per night. The tented accommodation is clean and comfortable, but much more... More

Our entire family had such a good time here and we were definitely sad to leave! This place, without a doubt, is more than just a hotel and I would recommend anyone to stay here for more than one night so as to be able to enjoy everything Kings Canyon has to offer. The staff at the lodge are so... More

This place is so very much what we had hoped to experience. The tent was comfortable and nicely done. They are more a mix of tent and cabin with a great big bathroom and deck. The dingoes woke us up howling! We had a fantastic dinner around the camp fire and were treated to the best damper. Our host Lilly... More

Wonderfully comfortable accommodation. Delicious and well prepared food. There are, apparently some 'essentials' on the menu selections - kangaroo and seafood. Welcoming 'staff' - Graham and Lilly were more like friends. Nothing was too much trouble. A 'must' do. Put it on your bucket list.

On our recent trip, we discovered that it about the unexpected experiences you have, rather than the major tourist attractions, that make a the best memories from your trip. No where was this better than at our stay here in Kings Canyon. As well as the luxury accommodation that still made you feel like you were in touch with the... More

We arrived early and were met by Graham our very amenable host. Our desert tent had a bath and was air conditioned. It was very private and relaxing. Malcolm cooked the food which was excellent and Lilly and Graham provided very a companionable experience. We loved dining under the stars with the smell of the open wood fire drifting over... More

This place is not a hotel its an experience. We were there for one night last week and wished we could have stayed more. We had dinner under the stars with lanterns and a pit fire. Lily our hostess was very warm and she treated us to lots of stories and made us all feel welcome. Jan cooked up a... More

My partner and I stayed at the wilderness lodge and had an amazing experience. The luxurious tents were sparking clean, very spacious & comfortable. The food was fantastic, we had delicious bug/prawn cakes & salad for the entrée, delicious beef, kangaroo, barramundi, potatoes, beans and corn for the main and a very tasty berry pavlova. We enjoyed our meal around... More

We spent one night at King's Canyon. The staff - Graham, Lily and Lachlan - really looked after us. This is one of those places where you relax and enjoy wonderful Australian hospitality. We stayed in luxury tents with beautiful ensuites. It rained the night we were there...there's nothing like sleeping in a "tent" with the rain coming down. We... More
