We stayed here for about 5 months while working day and night shifts in restaurants. The hostel was one reason to stay such a long time in "boring" Alice Springs. The hostel is not too big, quiet (NO PARTY HOSTEL) and has very nice facilities. We can't find one negative thing, so therefore a numeration of all the advantages: -very... More

I travelled to Alice Springs on the Ghan from Darwin and had not looked much into the town of Alice Springs. I preferred to make a mental image and imagine what it would be like as we travelled through the outback. It´s a town miles from anywhere so I expected a dusty, sand covered town - something out of a... More

We stayed here either side of our Uluru tour and it was fine. We stayed in a 6-bed dorm which was a good size and comfortable. The kitchen was okay, a little small but didn't seem to get too busy. There are good communal areas both inside and out. It's located a short walk from the centre of town. The... More

The hostel is very quiet and clean. Seb is a great host that cares a lot about the wellbeing of his backpackers. The walk to the city centre takes about ten to fifteen minutes. The pool is amazing to cool down in the sunny desert. I enjoyed the stay a lot.

I loved staying here, not too far from the main areas but far enough away you got some peace & quiet. I may be a big nerd but one of my favourite parts was the extensive book shelf. The outdoor area was great for relaxing on those sunny days. i.e. Everyday!

I stayed there before I start my trip with Mulgas Adventure and stayed there again for a complimentary stay after the tour (they're partnering with the tour by the time I write this review). It's a really nice place to stay and they mentioned that they're not a party hostel, so it's pretty relaxing especially after taking tour around Uluru... More

This is a lovely Backpacker outfit. The rooms are quite small and are arranged in an interesting way around an open space/garden with a small swimming pool. What is most striking is the very clean environment and the shared kitchen/dining hall is spotlessly clean. Which says a lot about the users and the management. They actively practise recycling and there's... More

Stayed two nights in mid-August. Apparently, each room is decorated differently, and the one we stayed was like a fun kids' room which reminds you of your childhood. They make their best effort in making your stay comfortable and would help you out even after your departure. Maria patiently helped me out with my peculiar request for issuing receipt, which... This was my first time at a Backpackers Inn and it was a great experience. It is a great location, within walking distance in and around Alice Springs, very nice, quiet and relaxing place to stay. Seb, the ownner and manager was very helpful with information and very friendly. I have already recommended Alice's Secret Travelers Inn to at least... More

Seb runs a very tight ship - which makes for a clean, quiet and safe backpackers! The double rooms are small but very pleasant and the garden provides a great place to chat and relax. Alice is very pricey so this accommodation is really good value and offers a way to meet other like-minded people. The location is brilliant, within... More
