The only thing good about this place was the temporary staff member who came up from Victoria to relief the regular host. She was extremely helpful, and based on that (without seeing the room) we asked to stay an extra night. WRONG!

The room (number 16) was smelly, small and the bed had a mattress that needed replacing. (The whole place needed replacing) The walls are block and about 9 feet from side to side. There was no extra charge for the love making noises from next door at 4 am until 5 am. (I don't think I was envious, hmmm)

The parking lot is narrow and you have to back out between the two rows of cars into a one way street to get out of the place. The stalls are narrow, and beware the door dingers.
There is a 70's phone in the room, dirty since then too and the buttons stuck. You have to go to the front desk and pay $10.00 deposit to make calls. Because the button stuck on two calls I had to pay the .50 cent minimum for 'pulse activation... more
