Alice Lodge is a really nice place to stay. Relaxed atmosphere, staff is friendly and helpful! Free breakfast every day and free wifi. The rooms are great, really big and comfortable beds, fridge and AC in every room, even dorm rooms. Good equiped kitchen. 10 minutes walk to shopping street / mall. There is a TV/movie room as well. And... More

I stayed here before and after a 3-days Uluru/Kata Tjuta/Kings Canyon tour. The place is exactly what you expect from a backpacker lodge. Rooms are tiny and your pleasant stay (and sleep) pretty much depends on your roommates. There are not too much showers and toilets, but I never had to wait. Take the baggage locker closing time seriously. No... More

Location is good, rooms and facilities are clean. Garden is okay. Kitchen is not that clean but i think it's because of the guests who don't care. Good price. Staff was super unfriendly and not really helpful. Opening hours of reception and storage are silly strict.

The staff were very accommodating. Friendly atmosphere. The backpackers is a bit out of town but not far, and most of the year you can shortcut across the "river" which is usually completely dry. My friend and I decided to split a private room with 2 beds because of early wakeups, and that helped in terms of getting a good... More

First hostel that provided a free breakfast at times that people out on tours can actually eat. Pleasant garden-sitting area. The staff were helpful, the place safe and in a quiet location. Nothing much to fault.

Rooms were comfortable and clean. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere. 5 minute walk into town. Good security. Extremely helpful and kind staff. The staff picked me up from the bus stop and brought me to the airport. Beautiful location. Good (albeit small) swimming pool. Not many toilets or showers, but there was never a wait to use them.

To begin with, the room had not been cleaned beforehand (we found some food packages in the wardrobe, a beanie full of dust under the bed and some mosquito nets on the floor). To make it worst the guy at reception was utterly unfriendly and seemed really bothered at our general questions on the room or the facilities. he couldn't... More

"It is hip" says our 12 year old. We agree. The hostel life takes some getting used to for those who have mainly stayed in hotels, but once you get over it, you realize the rooms are clean, as are the showers. Being able to take a (very) hot shower was great, especially as the weather was very cold. Just... More

We stopped over here to do a tour of Uluru. The staff were friendly and quite helpful. Our twin room was basic but for the price ok. The shared facilities could use a bit more attention, they never really looked clean for the two days we were there. Location wise just outside town but with in walking distance and the... More
