We stayed a few nights either side of a trip round the red centre. felt very homely and a sense that everyone looked out for one another. Very cheep stay with 'help yourself to breakfast' great location close to the town (map available from reception). Key code access to dorms, which i thought was unusual and unisex bathrooms, but they... More

Its not the Ritz, and at the price you shouldn't expect that, but we did get breakfast included. The rooms are a bit tight but OK. Good location with an easy walk to town. Stopped here on a Friday night after the Larapinta. Very atmospheric bar (read the old newspaper headlines!). Interesting mix of guests: listen to the staff/tour guides... More

Recently stayed a few nights, then went on three day tour to King's Canyon, Uluru (that's Ayers Rock for those who don't know) culminating with a fabulous dinner back at Annie's on the Friday night.. Tour guides were knowledgeable, totally helpful and the food and facilities on the trip were fantastic. All nationalities mingle at this friendly venue, management bends... More

My husband and I stayed here the day before an uluru trip. We were due to stay after our trip but decided to stay somewhere else on our return. We had a private double room. It was very dirty and dusty. The air conditioning/heating was incredibly loud and since it was winter it got very cold at night (-2 celsius)... More

My friend loves this hostel, so she recommand me. The hostel is really cool and they also have the pub.I really enjoy my night there. If you want me to say something about hostel. I would say the room is a bit too small. Also when I took a shower, I was waiting for hot water about 10mins.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The place was great, the bar and restaurant were very nice and quite cheap. The only problem may be if you have a room close to the bar, it can be noisy until 1am. Otherwise, it is by far the best hostel I've stayed in Australia for now !

Annie's place is a very colorful place. You can swim into the pool during hot days and all the rooms are building around. We got a good private room with my girlfriend, and not noisy at all for a backpack (what is really important when you want to sleep) ! +, the food in the restaurant is quite cheap and... More

Great place to stay. Simple, but has everything you need: A big kitchen, yummy free breakfast (toast, jams, peanut butter, vegemite... tea and coffee), a pool, and the bar that belongs to Annie's place is comfi and a good place to spend the evening. Not too loud during the night, I didn't even hear it in my room. Only thing... More

Thanks Christine for your great review! We're glad you had an awesome time at Annie's Place. I think you might have us confused with our tour (Mulgas Adventures) about the sleeping bags. We provide blankets for a deposit which is returned on the return of the blanket, whereas you can hire a sleeping bag for the tour for $15 each.... More
