Not many negatives about this hotel. It's exactly what it aims to be. Comfortable, clean and good location. Cafes and restaurants are an easy walk. In the end, it's Alice Springs...and the Aurora is a good base.

Good check in, staff friendly and helpful. Ground floor room, which had plenty of room for one person, easy access, no problems with noise on week nights. Great location on the Todd Mall and walking distance to all shopping & restaurants. Staff were friendly. Rooms are abit tired and could do with a makeover. A doona on the beds would be a good idea especially for the colder months.

Loved the location and the adjacent restaurant (Red Ochre). Close to lots of stuff in Alice Springs. Friendly staff. Downside: our room was "worn" and the whole property seemed to be dusty and uncared for. We were a little disappointed at our "deluxe" room (??) but felt like the location and restaurant balanced out the negative.
