Went out for dinner to this restaurant for a dear friends birthday...Oh Dear! .... paid $98 for an entree and main each for hubby and I ... The entree was just OK... we had a both main of barramundi... tough as old boots with a few withered burnt prawns on top.... dry as the Sahara... I was so hungry and... More

Please accept our apologies for the bad food and service you recently received at Alice in the Territory. As of 17 December 2014 the motel has new owners. We are working hard to bring the motel back to the standard that it used to enjoy. More

We stayed a couple of nights while visiting the Macdonnell Ranges, en route to Uluru and beyond. It fit the bill perfectly. The property is quiet, and just far enough away from the touristy mall area. The room was fine, and has a fridge and tea and coffee.

with the Masters Games in town we were lucky to find a room at all. This is very dated, but the pool, restaurant and staff were great. We walked back from town but it is a couple kms the Casino is across the street so easy to grab a beer or food as the restaurant at the hotel is closed... More

Free wifi is a deal breaker and rare in Oz. Great Service and comfortable Rooms. Definitely stay here again. Fellow guests rated the food great. Great place just out of the Centre of Alice. Next time l'd bring my mountain bike, there are great trails in the surrounds and to just get around town.

Beware, property is for sale as it has a Receiver/Manager appointed. Room comfortable enough, but had an air conditioner with a mind of it's own. Turn it on fine, turn it off, it still kept running and the noise was unbelievable. Lacked the little extras, no hand towels, no face washers, no bars of soap ( gel dispensers only). $19.50... More

Our room: The temporature outside and in was Zero. The 25 year old air-con was beyond repair. They did supply a strip heater but it lit up the room like a christmas tree. And did offer us an other room but too late in the night The CRT TV with a set top box was useless. I commend the staff... More

The room was fine - reasonable value for money, however no way is this 20min walk from town - it took us 40 min and we'd just done the Larapinta track. Continental breakfast at $16 was a rip off - sad range of food. Suggest you go to the breakfast at the casino - $20 for continental or $25 for... More

The place is clean, the room I was in was spacious. That's where the good ends. What I needed was a good night sleep and an internet connection do get a few things done while traveling. And that's where they failed. There was a whining noise coming from within the wall. And WiFi? That's completely useless because they don't have... More

The decor is very dated but it was just what we needed for our short stay in Alice Springs, affordable and comfortable. The linen was clean but I found a few stray hairs in the bathroom (ew) and the cups hadn't been washed properly. It would've been nice to have metal teaspoons but I can understand why they have plastic!... More

Reasonable accommodation for the price, particulalry if you are looking for more than two people to a room. The "deluxe" rooms are certainly better than backpacker accommodation but look slightly shabby. The brick walls painted a rust coulour do not help. Our room had a double bed and single bed, with bunk beds in a small antiroom to the main... More
