Beware, property is for sale as it has a Receiver/Manager appointed. Room comfortable enough, but had an air conditioner with a mind of it's own. Turn it on fine, turn it off, it still kept running and the noise was unbelievable. Lacked the little extras, no hand towels, no face washers, no bars of soap ( gel dispensers only). $19.50... More

Our room: The temporature outside and in was Zero. The 25 year old air-con was beyond repair. They did supply a strip heater but it lit up the room like a christmas tree. And did offer us an other room but too late in the night The CRT TV with a set top box was useless. I commend the staff... More

The room was fine - reasonable value for money, however no way is this 20min walk from town - it took us 40 min and we'd just done the Larapinta track. Continental breakfast at $16 was a rip off - sad range of food. Suggest you go to the breakfast at the casino - $20 for continental or $25 for... More

The place is clean, the room I was in was spacious. That's where the good ends. What I needed was a good night sleep and an internet connection do get a few things done while traveling. And that's where they failed. There was a whining noise coming from within the wall. And WiFi? That's completely useless because they don't have... More

The decor is very dated but it was just what we needed for our short stay in Alice Springs, affordable and comfortable. The linen was clean but I found a few stray hairs in the bathroom (ew) and the cups hadn't been washed properly. It would've been nice to have metal teaspoons but I can understand why they have plastic!... More

Reasonable accommodation for the price, particulalry if you are looking for more than two people to a room. The "deluxe" rooms are certainly better than backpacker accommodation but look slightly shabby. The brick walls painted a rust coulour do not help. Our room had a double bed and single bed, with bunk beds in a small antiroom to the main... More

Very good value for the area. At $89 for a room, you receive an in-room mini-fridge, a large room (loveseat, desk, closet), A/C, TV (reception can be a bit dodgy), decent FREE wifi, and decent customer service. The rooms are a bit worn and the bathrooms dated, but remember that the it is priced accordingly. The property is some distance... More

I would definitely recommend Alice in the territory to all.Great price, we had a family room and it was great value for money,,,great staff and very helpful. the motel is a little out of town, but as the weather is always nice in Alice, it is a nice stroll to town,or as we did, we hired a hire car and... We had an excellent room with a good view on the pool and on the neaby mountains. We especially enjoyed the red brick walls in this hotel, they look very warm and nice and make the hotel fit very well into the countryside.

Family run and friendly. Great restaurant and bar, really nice pool and BBQ area, with lots of local bird life. Rooms do look slightly dated (but only to my ultra-modern tastes!) though are very comfortable and have all the amenities you would wish for. The hotel is a little way from the town centre, but if you're in this area... More
