Nice hotel, about 15 minute walk from the town. Very helpful reception. Large bedroom and big shower although no bath. Clean enough. Hotel restaurant was quite expensive for what we got. more

Very disappointing. Air Conditioning didn't work very well and it was 40 degrees outside!! Housekeeping very ordinary, chipped bathroom tiles, towels fairly worn, one pool not working, in other water was very murky, garden beds unkempt and overgrown with weeds, grounds in very poor state rubbish around etc. Breakfast pretty uninspiring and one day had ants crawling over serving utensils.... more

lice is in the desert, but they do have hoovers and cleaning pruducts, so I think it is just down to training the staff!! more

The rooms were very worn, especially the bathrooms. Very old fittings and bathroom tiles, so doesn't give an impression of hygiene (even though probably clean). The restauarant was also very disappointing, and food quality was poor. Had both dinner and breakfast there. Stayed for 3 nights, booked directly $99AUD including buffet breakfast. The sportsbar was good and also the food. Bathrooms needed updating but for this price not complaining. more

We stayed at the Oasis two nights and it was sufficient before we moved onto Uluru/Yulara. Previous reviews are accurate - this is not exactly Raffles, but the budget motel/hotel we expected for our money. We found the room large enough and clean but the bathroom area like a cupboard. This was the best experience. Friendly staff, clean rooms, great big pool/s, sauna, spa, free in house moves but the best thing was the restaurant & sports bar. The food was amazing especially here in Alice Springs. Met Adam the chef as he walked around the tables asking about the food which was a personal touch I did not expect.... more
