Our second accommodation on our itinerary in the Voyager resort chain was the Alice Springs Resort at AU $152/night. Meals not included. It is situated in nice grounds; the room was spacious and comfortable, although as we have found, more cleaning is required in the bathrooms and more maintenance is required with the fly screens. The reception was efficient. The... more

The hotel was fine. My room was nice and clean. You have your AC/Heat that you control. The beds were comfortable and the tv worked. After spending 2 weeks camping ...it actually felt like pure luxury. There's not much to do in Alice Springs. The resort is a nice, comfortable place to stay for a couple of nights. Anything more... more

We booked 2 nights at the Voyages, before and after a tour around the Red Centre. Not sure what the standard rooms are like, but we stayed in a Deluxe room and thought it was great. Spacious, quiet, nice furnishings, and a nice balcony overlooking Todd River (which is dry actually). Service was good too - we had a very... more

Our second night stay in Alice Springs because of an unexpected delay in plans had us stay here. Price was on special from a last minute booking site. I would say the rooms were a little above the average motel. Somewhat dated but still clean. Pool is small with limited chairs. Since this hotel seems to have a lot of... more

After travelling to Uluru and Kings Canyon, we finished our trip here. We stayed in delux River Gums rooms. We had a connecting room with our 3 children. The rooms were large and had hair dryers and toiletries. Balconies looked over the totally dry Todd River. The pool was welcome for the kids. Buffet breakfast was just right for the... more

Apologies to the Aussies but Alice Springs was one of those "been there..done that" kind of places. And this hotel fell into the same category. The room was dated and kind of okay but certainly not memorable. The staff wasn't overly friendly, so different from most Aussies we met. The pool is very small and too crowded to get into.... more

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night. We booked a River Gum room and the room was ok. We probably will book this hotel next time in Alcie Springs. We used diner in the hotel and that was a great mistake. They say it's an award winning restaurant. I don't know what kind of reward they won but it... more

We stayed in the Deluxe River Gum apartments, probably the better of all the other rooms there, the rooms were clean, good aircon, they made our room every day, good security and ideal position for us. Located right on the bank of the Todd River (no water in it when we were there), only a 5-10 min walk to popular... more

Bit of anticlimax here. Rooms just average, in need of a bit of makeover. Restaurant for breakfast was not too bad. Did not make room up till after 1600 and forgot to replenish tea bags etc. staffing poor..vogages hotels having a theme running here..staff. The pool is tiny and only limited space to veg out, so get your towels on... more

Bearing in mind that there are only a few hotels in Alice Springs but nevertheless this hotel seem tired and worn out. The bedroom was well past its sell by date- clean and comfortable but tatty. The restaurant service was pretty awful - in the evening- they lost our order and an hour later admitted it but only after one... more
