Powered site was great. Ammenities were clean. Employees were demanding and very controlling - eg can not park vehicle on the street, no cloths line were allowed even when supplied ones are full and had to park straight. Close to town. Would stay again - only just. Price was good. Suprisingly very few children around

we stayed at this park for just over 1 week, and had a lovely time it is very close to the town centre, very friendly people, Garry and Debbie were very helpful, we were given a nice shady quite spot, toilet and showers were very clean, good sized laundry plenty of hanging area. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Stayed here just one night traveling through from Kings Canyon to Tennants Creek. Good location, good amenities. Powered site was good everything you need close by. 2 bed cabin was a little dated and basic but served its purpose for 1 night. ***

As I entered the office, after a long drive, the gentleman manning the office had the personality of a cut onion as the saying goes "a smile goes a long way" he was at the point of being rude, but apart from that the sites are of a good size and the amenities were very clean and the showers were... We stayed here for three nights as we were doing a quick tour of the Alice and surrounds. The park was on the main Hwy but very quiet. The toilet/shower facilities were extremely clean, with plenty of hot water for a great shower. Secuirty was important to them as they have boom gates in and out and then a larger... More

Have stayed at Uluru and kings canyon and then here tonight in this little park and this beat the other two hands down. Staff friendly and helpful. Great location. Toilet blocks might have been a little dated but very clean and the best hot shower you could have. Stated in a powered site. Site big enough enough and power and... More

Great location. Walking distance to town. Fairly pricey we felt at $37 for unpowered site . Not bad apart from the service which was dreadful and the talk of the campsites. Everyone had the same complaint. A pity because it was bad enough to spoil our stay. Would not go back, would not recommend.

A nice little Caravan park located on the left hand side of the Stuart highway in the northern section of Alice Springs approximately 2.5km from the town centre. A handy location and within walking distance to visit the School of the air, the Telegraph station and Arunga park speedway. A small shopping complex is also close by. Staff are friendly,... More

Although it was a good few years ago, I doubt the place has changed much. We hired a cabin for four nights and were very comfortable. The cabin had everything you could want and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy to find and the buses/coaches piuck up from there for the various trips out and events. We went... More

We stayed at Wintersun for four nights at the beginning of our first ever campervan holiday in Australia. It turned out to be the yardstick by which we measured the other campgrounds we stayed at while we explored the MacDonnell Ranges, Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Kings Canyon, Coober Pedy, the Barossa Valley and down to Adelaide. Although the facilities aren't new,... More
