Great location. Walking distance to town. Fairly pricey we felt at $37 for unpowered site . Not bad apart from the service which was dreadful and the talk of the campsites. Everyone had the same complaint. A pity because it was bad enough to spoil our stay. Would not go back, would not recommend.

A nice little Caravan park located on the left hand side of the Stuart highway in the northern section of Alice Springs approximately 2.5km from the town centre. A handy location and within walking distance to visit the School of the air, the Telegraph station and Arunga park speedway. A small shopping complex is also close by. Staff are friendly,... More

Although it was a good few years ago, I doubt the place has changed much. We hired a cabin for four nights and were very comfortable. The cabin had everything you could want and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy to find and the buses/coaches piuck up from there for the various trips out and events. We went... More

We stayed at Wintersun for four nights at the beginning of our first ever campervan holiday in Australia. It turned out to be the yardstick by which we measured the other campgrounds we stayed at while we explored the MacDonnell Ranges, Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Kings Canyon, Coober Pedy, the Barossa Valley and down to Adelaide. Although the facilities aren't new,... More

We booked in here for 5 nights at short notice, arriving as it happened, on a long weekend. It was Show Weekend, but we werent aware of this, so were very lucky I'd say to have got accommodation at all. It's a lovely park with ample laundry and dishwashing facilities with lots of hot water, but the ablution blocks are... More

This was our second choice of accommodation after a place we'd stayed previously wouldnt accept a one night booking. It was cheaper, and granted smaller unit, but neat, the staff were friendly and helpful, sorted us out on relatively short notice on Easter weekend and it ended up being very close to the place we'd chosen to go to dinner.... Had occassion to stay here recently May for 4 nights. And have to say it is one of the most friendly Parks I have ever stayed at. The facilities were well maintained and spotlessly clean. It is out of town to the north yet within easy distance to the city centre. Whilst it is on the highway it is very... More

Stayed 1 night in a two bedroom cabin which was great for our travelling party of 4 adults and 1 infant. There was enough room for all of us to eat dinner and breakfast at the dining table. The park was nice and quiet, and seemed to be well maintained, and we enjoyed an afternoon dip in the pool.

We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom cabins. This was perfect for our needs as a family of 4. The little kitchen was good for catering for ourselves. While the water in the pool was cold, the children enjoyed it. The staff in the office were helpful in terms of how to get to various attractions in Alice Springs.... More

Stayed in a grassed powered site and the family agrees that it has the best showers in all the 75 caravan parks we have stayed at over the years. Staff helpful and made sure we were happy with site when setting up. Within walking distance to main centre - 15 min walk and school of the air around the corner.
