The location is superb, if you love wildlife there is much to see at this gorgeous Wilderness Park. Geoff, Deb, Meagan & staff are all so helpful. We had a misadventure getting there day 1 & after driving through a storm & other obstacles thrown at us on the day they were more than welcoming to us when we finally... More

Stayed the weekend of 21 & 22 March in a family bungalow - basic, but roomy and everything you need. Hired the gold buggy which the kids loved. Sat night in the restaurant was pizza night (make your own pizzas) and the kids loved it - great idea. The managers are really friendly, make you feel welcome. We loved the... More

Stayed here for a night just to get out of town. Being wet season and just after Christmas restaurant wasn't open but the Bark Hut Inn just up the road was. The room itself was clean and private. Being a larger fellow I usually like two pillows as one doesn't quite cut it to support my big book head. Unfortunately... More

Stayed overnight here and really enjoyed it. Staff very friendly. Well set up cabins by the pool, stayed in cabin 4. Was quiet time of the year, 5 days before Christmas, so no restaurant available. We took our baby q BBQ but they do have a communal kitchen in camp ground but a bit of a distance from the cabins.... More

We stayed with our camper from Maui on our first night in the Camping Mary River resort. The staff was very helpful and organised a river cruise for us next day (having to call around quite a bit as a number of things were closed for the summer already). The whole place was also very clean and the coffee was... More

We stopped here over night and could not have picked a better place. The park gardens are pristine and beautiful, the staff super friendly, the pool was lovely and had magnificent views over the gardens and there were wallaby's everywhere. Toilets and showers were clean and showers hot. There were not many people in the park but having a beer... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. Checking in was a very pleasant experience. We had large suitcases and so were given one of the rooms with adjoining parking. A trolley was available if necessary. We were given lots of information about the park, with trail maps etc.which were useful. The accommodation was in wooden chalets. These were equipped with AC, tea... More

We spent one night and really enjoyed seeing all the wildlife on and around the campground - lots of wallabies, many parrots, flying foxes roosting in a tree nearby... The kitchen facilities were fine. We would have liked to hire a boat to discover the river but unfortunately in the morning we had to drive off. A nice place to... More

The park is set in a beautiful location just past the crossing of the Mary River. It was a beautiful place to stay, we loved all the trees and wildlife. We stayed in a pool cabin which we were glad for because they were a lot more private and peaceful, plus the pool is lovely!! We were disappointed with the... More

My sister in law, brother and myself stayed here for over a week and had an awesome time. Quiet, relaxing with a spot of excitement thrown in.We spotted plenty of crocs, and caught a 75+ cm. barramundi. Fantastic. The friendliness, help and support given by the staff was second to none, and I am already trying to plan my next visit... More
