50th birthday, 25th wedding anniversary, expecting grandparents. These are part of the reasons we came to the "Top end" with our family and wives. We came to Darwin and then met our guides and host for a 3 day Kakadu experience. Our guides, Tanya and Barrie were amazing, Tanya having an in depth knowledge of the local aboriginal culture and... We had a very good buyment deal, and enjoyed our stay, the pool bungalow was very large, good fridge and nice outside verandah. The pool area was great and refreshing and the camp facilities looked great. The extensive grounds were well maintained and the room was clean

We camped for a couple of nights and found the staff very helpful and friendly. All the amenities were tidy and clean, the grass is watered often, so there was a nice soft covering "underfoot"; very much appreciated when the air bed deflated. The boat hire is very reasonable and easy to operate, it was the same with the golf... More

My Family/ work have been going to the Mary river park for years. When we started staying at the park we could camp the whole grounds near the restaurant. last year we where pushed down the bottom near the river and when it rained the toilet block was about 1/2 a meter under water also some of the camp site... We stayed in one of the pool side bungalows, which was clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. It had a nice view of the pool and surrounding gardens and was only a short walk to reception and the restaurant. All the staff we encountered were friendly. It was nice to stay somewhere we could see wildlife, almost from our front door.... More

Sarah thank you for your kind review. Our restaurant menu does change throughout the year, it is seasonal and dependant on the number of people we have staying in the park - with usually 6 - 8 options for mains including a vegetarian option. The Bark Hut Inn is 2 Km away and does allow for people to have a... More

Stayed here for four nights. The property is approx 1.5 hrs from Darwin and located in the Mary River Wetlands region. There are self contained bungalows and camp sites positioned amongst trees and grassed areas. Paths from the bungalows lead up to reception and the restaurant and a wide open deck area, which overlooks one of two swimming pools. Unfortunately,... More

Good location but unfortunately a few things lets it down. On arrival we asked for some extra pillows as the pillows were really flat we were told, they would try and find some. Not a good start for customer service. We then asked about pre booking dinner and were told that there were people staying for a conference being held... More

Great place to stay in the motor home. We loved the pool, cool and clean. Facilities were clean. Staff helpful. Loved the wallaby walk and very much enjoyed all the wallabies sharing the grounds with us.

Lovely property with beautiful gardens and some nice walking tracks along the Mary River. Enjoyed all the wildlife around the ppty. The fish & mango sauce meal in their restaurant was delicious. The cabins are very comfortable. Great value. Take a book. Due to location there is no T.V. & WiFi is only available on reception/restuarant verandah. Good time to... More

We booked two cabins for our group here to be closer to the Corroboree Billabong, where we did a sunset cruise. Great location and beautiful bush surroundings. We took drinking water with us after reading the reviews here, and were glad we did because the bore water did taste funny. A bottle of spring water was provided in the fridge.... More
