We recently stayed for two nights on a powered site and had one of our best stops there. Very peaceful and serene, staff welcoming and helpful. Great value - happy hours at $3 for cans of beer or house wine sitting on their lovely deck overlooking the property, their own boat cruises for $30 up the Mary River were excellent... More

Loved it so much! .....there's grass, clean toilets/ showers, lovely staff, great wildlife and the self drive river boats....took one out twice...... 5 hours hire....crocs and such a beautiful river. No boat licence required....bonus! They also provide DVDs for free hire.....we loved the whole retreat. The meals were fine....just a but pricey. Will def recommend!! Thank you.

We've just left this magical little place. We were only here for one night but the staff are warm and welcoming and the campsites were spacious and nice and shady. There are nice bush walks and it is situated on the river, although there are crocs so they do give you plenty of warning not to swim or be within... More

For the Top End this retreat is the 'Top of the List' for a fabulous friendly, fresh and chic place to stay. Warm and obliging welcome; tastefully modern clean and spacious cabins with choice of secluded pool or communal pool. Lush grounds full of visiting wildlife and adventuring surrounds offered lots to do and see. Meals were fresh with a... More

I would highly recommend the cabins. They are well set-up for families. There is a nice pool and heaps of grassy areas for the kids to play. There are also communal fire pits, so you have have a camping experience (complete with marshmellows) whilst staying in a cabin. Unfortunately the restaurant is not good. There is no atmosphere and the... More

The location is superb, if you love wildlife there is much to see at this gorgeous Wilderness Park. Geoff, Deb, Meagan & staff are all so helpful. We had a misadventure getting there day 1 & after driving through a storm & other obstacles thrown at us on the day they were more than welcoming to us when we finally... More

Stayed the weekend of 21 & 22 March in a family bungalow - basic, but roomy and everything you need. Hired the gold buggy which the kids loved. Sat night in the restaurant was pizza night (make your own pizzas) and the kids loved it - great idea. The managers are really friendly, make you feel welcome. We loved the... More

Stayed here for a night just to get out of town. Being wet season and just after Christmas restaurant wasn't open but the Bark Hut Inn just up the road was. The room itself was clean and private. Being a larger fellow I usually like two pillows as one doesn't quite cut it to support my big book head. Unfortunately... More

Stayed overnight here and really enjoyed it. Staff very friendly. Well set up cabins by the pool, stayed in cabin 4. Was quiet time of the year, 5 days before Christmas, so no restaurant available. We took our baby q BBQ but they do have a communal kitchen in camp ground but a bit of a distance from the cabins.... More

We stayed with our camper from Maui on our first night in the Camping Mary River resort. The staff was very helpful and organised a river cruise for us next day (having to call around quite a bit as a number of things were closed for the summer already). The whole place was also very clean and the coffee was... More
