We stopped here over night and could not have picked a better place. The park gardens are pristine and beautiful, the staff super friendly, the pool was lovely and had magnificent views over the gardens and there were wallaby's everywhere. Toilets and showers were clean and showers hot. We had the mixed grill for dinner which was super tasty and... More

We did two trips to this great little bar. One for a day trip which we just popped into to get the feel of the place before we made out descion on wether to do New Years here. We loved the service and there are great decorations. Great country pool. We booked a single bed room as everything else was... More

We stayed for a night in the "cabins" which were simple but clean. The purpose was served. Did not eat at the restaurant but did enjoy a few drinks at the bar. The bar area is huge so I'm betting this place would rock on the weekends! Alas, it was midweek for us so there was only conversation. Bartenders and... More

Stayed in the cabins with a group of friends. The dishes, kettle and cutlery were dirty and there was no dish washing liquid provided. The bathroom was mouldy and the room smelt terrible. Unable to close screen door so we got eaten by midgies.

Definitely worth a stop on the way to Kakadu. It's quite a unique building and has some interesting ornaments inside... ask if they give credit and you'll be pointed to part of a pigs backside on the wall! Not cheap but an interesting stop to break the drive from Darwin and relax in the shade for a bit with a... More

We stayed here for lunch on our way from Darwin to Kakadu. The uniqueness of the pub was so special, you have to see it to believe it. we enjoyed our toasted egg and bacon sandwiches out in the sunshine and they were kind enough to cook mine on gluten free bread which I brought in. Not many places do... More

Just down the road from the Humpty Doo and quite the traditional caravan stop. Just before the entrance to Kakadu Park. Great bar and lots of outside seating. Good stand-alone resort units and shaded pool for avoiding the afternoon sun. From here you can hit almost all the recreational areas that aren’t in the park proper – but go with... More

I tried one of their budget rooms. It is definitely cheap (at Australian standards). It was a very small room (say 4 square meter) in a container, and it was inbearably hot. There was a very old aircon in the room, which produced a noise level almost like a truck. Opening the window is not an option during the night,... More
