The Prince of Wales was recommended to me and I can see why. It's in an old, restored building on the main drag through town, but the quiet end where there are some pretty interesting food and retail shops. There's a small pool and a lovely relaxing small garden. The room was a good size with queen and single bed... More

This place makes me feel like Wagga is a second home. Food is great, it is nice and peaceful, located perfectly on the quiet part of the main drag and 2 mins walk to the river. Hosts were great. Will definitely be back.

The cleanest, completely renovated. A magnificent bespoke hotel. A pure pleasure to stay in. The hosts Jo Ann & Mick are welcoming friendly and provide that warm feeling of a home away from away home. The only place I would ever stay at in Wagga Wagga.

This was our first visit to Wagga. We had driven off the Spirit of Tasmania ferry first thing in the morning.....so after 460km, we were tired, hot and travel weary. Our spirits lifted after a warm welcome at The Comfort Inn......and soared when we were shown to our beautifully appointed room. It had everything we could need.....including a fridge to... More

As a regular traveller, both domestic and internationally, I have to question the yardstick used to rate this motel so highly. I am in an ordinary room, with a magnificent view of a bathroom on one side and a carpark on the other.....Consider Mantra instead.

People look at you a bit oddly when you tell them that it is your 1st visit to Australia and your spending most of it in Wagga Wagga. Well, staying at the Prince of Wales has made all the difference! I have traveled around the world and found very few places that are as wonderful as this simple little hotel.... More

This is a comfortable and well located motel--right at the end of the main street but set back from the road so was very quiet when my wife and I stayed there in January 2014. A young staff member who said she was looking after the place while the owners were away was very friendly and helpful. We visit family... More

Loved it here, full of charm. Room very comfortable, bed great, very clean, stylish. Make sure you get a room upstairs with a balcony though over the river. Position fabulous, walked to RSL for dinner.
