If you are in the Rocks area, this restaurant is great for a good pizza and a few beers. The Code of Arms (kangaroo and emu pizza) and Australian pizza were both delicious. Good beer selection, atmosphere and prices are reasonable. Service wasn't great the night we went, but there was a staff party so they were understaffed and some... More

Love coming to Sydney and especially love it when I'm sitting here with a pint of their draft beer or cider. What a great atmosphere, location and selection of food and drink! If you are peckish, don't miss out on their gormet pizzas, which are delicious, and you can take them home in proper pizza boxes.

We were staying at the Shangrila-la and walked past this as it was so busy, the next night we did the same, but the following evening, it was still busy we found a seat inside and ordered the chicken wings and potato skins to share, and a couple of Aussie beers, the staff were very good, the place is just... Had the kangaroo and emu pizza because that's what we do when traveling and it was delicious. We might go back and try the crocodile pizza. They have a wide selection of beer also. We ate outside and the service was fine. You do have to go inside to order and pay.

Food ok, we both had the steak and chips. Would be good to offer other sauces. Steak wasn't the best but chips were yummy! Serves food till late, ideal if you've just done the bridge climb. Friendly staff. Good location. Lots of places to drink. Heard the pizza was good but we'd had pizza for lunch so steak it was.

Our introduction to Aussie food and craft beer. High points on both. We shared the Coat of Arms pizza - half emu and half kangaroo. I had the Six Strings Pale Ale and Sharon had Hills Cider, Cloudy Apple. A real funky old hotel with lots of character. We sat outside and enjoyed the day.

Brought my cousin who's in Sydney for the first time and it was great showing him the Australian Pub culture. The staffs were friendly and always with a smile on. It is pleasant to see such a smile without paying a high cost meal. The vegetarian pizzas were good and did not disappoint us. They also have a small selection... More

if you want an original colonial building, this is it. We stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights & was very good, the bed was very comfortable. We also ate there, if you go, you have to try their pizzas, they're out of this world. They are that good, even some of the Australian cricket team was eating... More

I was a bit sceptical about staying in an old hotel above a pub, but my wife and I ended up having a terrific week. The service was outstanding and went above and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. It was a bit noisy on the weekends but we had no trouble falling asleep. The room doesn't have AC... More

Found this place while looking for a lunch spot near the Rocks area. We really enjoyed sitting outside with a couple beers and wine. Their pizzas were awesome - and the service was good. Love the architecture of the place. A great place to sit and relax in while visiting the city.
