Probably one of the worst hostels I have stayed in! The room are unclean, you are given clean linen however you have to put it on yourself and judging by the state of the mattresses you would have thought that they would do it them selves just to hide the uncleanliness of the rooms. The window was broken and so... More

Please do yourselves a favour and spend a bit more money on a better place to stay. Terrible smells, windows wouldn't close or lock, carpet taped down to the floor with duct tape and just a general unsafe feeling.

We stayed here for a week. There was 4 of us squashed in to a small smelly room with no room for anything . The cleaners did not change our bins or bed sheets for pretty much the whole time we were there. There was no air con. The toilets are filthy and always in use . There is not... More

We stayed here a couple of days after New Years looking for a place to sleep and a base. After reading the rest of the reviews on this site we were terrified of what we would encounter but found it was better than expected. Yes the place is run down but the sheets were clean, kitchen and bathrooms were clean... More

Just returned home from an amazing year travelling in Australia and I spent about 5 months staying at Home. I had the BEST time at this hostel, it is so much fun and full of amazing people. The hostel itself is basic but what do you expect when you are booking cheap backpacker accommodation? It is comfortable enough and you... More

Do not stay here - I chose this place purely because there was nothing else in Sydney available to book at the last minute and immediately regretted my decision. It's unclean, run down, confusing and generally just feels like a crack den. The corners of the room were not at right angles with the floor and clearly a thoroughfare for... More

We have had a terrible experience in this backpack. This is the most horrible we ever seen in Australia. Their is no breakfast, only bread early in the morning, it's means that you'll never see bread for breakfast. The room smell very bad. You can't close the windows in the bathroom, so everybody can see you and it's cold in... More

I stayed for around a month in one of the 4 bed dorms on 'a side' while the room was rather run down and the cleaner was somewhat useless the rest of the staff, particularly the manager, were very friendly and helpful. This hostel is made by the people not the facilities. If your friendly and up for a laugh... More

The location was no bad, because I was looking for a hostel in CBD (city centre). I stayed in a private double room ensuite, so If you compare prices to other rooms like this in hostels in the neighbourhood, you'll think it's a good deal, but the building is old and needing a restoration. During an entire week there, no... More
