Noisy, poorly equipped rooms - not enough chairs for 4 people to sit on, filthy dirty lady's stocking found in one bedroom, no mini-bar, not enough glasses to drink from, no jug - had to get glasses of water from bathroom tap, staff started vacuuming outside bedroom on Sunday morning at 8, very noisy from the pub downstairs, beergarden and... more

The hotel is in a very unique spot, WAY - way - way across the harbor from Circular Quay and right at the mouth of the harbor. The views are to die for and the night sky line will be one of those things I remember ALL of my life - coming half way around the world to see it.... more

The room was quite nice, though we were facing the park & right under the pub, made our stay a little uncomfortable. Once the pub goers arrived we could hear them talking etc downstairs, then we could hear a noise like a window or door shutting frequently,so I spoke to the receptionist who was quite friendly & said she'd look into it,but after... more

I thought the hotel was absolutely outstanding with a perfect view of the harbour. I also thought that the service and the food in the hotel was great while my mum and Dad also thought it was great in the beer garden. The breakfast was also fantastic, just like the accomodation staying in the loft suite. Also the hotel rooms... more

Stayed here a number of times for work and can highly recommend it. The breakfast that was included was fantastic. Have also stayed in a loft room with the 2 kids and they had a ball It is an absolute bargain on WOTIF Try the Thai just accross the park, great cheap food Only problem is access to the CBD,... more

As the manager said to me the next morning by way of explanation, "We're a PUB, not a 5 star hotel." Remember that if you plan to stay in this heavenly spot. Watson's Bay Hotel has an accommodation monoply in this stunning location, so you might just be glad to get a room without realising that the management are more... more

I stayed here for one night on business. The location is excellent, close to South Head with fabulous walks and outstanding scenery almost next door and yet a short ferry ride to the City. The room was clean, spacious, very modern and nicely appointed. The rate was reasonable and the staff friendly. I was amazed that the hotel wasn't full,... more

My room at this hotel was reasonably priced and had a beautiful view all the way to Sydney across the harbor. The ferry stop is no more than 30 meters from the hotel exit, there is a nice park next to the hotel, the fish-n-chip place behind the hotel is very good and reasonably priced, and the staff is friendly.... more

Just recently I stayed at this hotel. I was a bit apprehensive at first, but I was pleasantly surprised. I booked a harbour front room and was assigned room 111, which is the best room. So spacious, asthetically pleasing and definitely at a 5 star level. I originally was assigned room 110, but was upgraded for free to 111. Room... more
