I suggest everybody to stay so far away from this hostel, probably one of the dirtiest hostel in Australia. Me and my girlfriend spent in Chili Blu backpackers 1 week because at least the price was really cheap compared with other hostels in Sydney, Service from the reception is bad, rooms dirty, toilets with no doors, corridors too small to pass... I just stayed one day, enought to take the coldest shower of my life. Shower's doors can't be locked, and some doesn't have any door in fact. Same for most of the toilets. Not enought toilets for everybody. Noisy. Dirty. Oh and if you want to enjoy the free breakfast bring your own plates, bowl and everything because there is... More

My friend and I stayed at the hostel for one week, with the plan of seeing if we liked it and then staying for longer. After the first night we wanted to leave. There were cockroaches on the kitchen sides, in the toilets (plus there are not enough toilets for the amount of people staying) and the locks on the... More

This it's to be a friendly fun hostle but recently the owner has become aggressive and power mad throwing people out for fun. If you wish to have a fun and enjoyful time in Sydney and not be harassed by the owner (Mo) stay else where. Previous long stayer.

Got there in the morning and was already appalled and the unexisting hygiene, the derelict facilities (especially common areas) and general decrepit look. Little did I know that the worst was yet to come. When I tried to go to sleep, jetlagged as one can be, at 10pm, the people in the room decided to get high. This was followed... More

Unfortunately we stayed in the hostel for about a week. In two parts. First few days we had a double room with a window, telly and a small desk. Space around the bed was, well almost nothing. Luckily we had like a double bunk bed. So we could store our suitcases on the upper bed. There were cockroaches everywhere, so... More

This is by far the worst hostel I have ever stayed in. The only positives were the location and free eggs for breakfast. The room was small and smelt like somthing had died mixed with sweat which I presume is down to the fact it was so hot in there. There were two toilets one of whoch did not lock.... More

I stayed here for three days in a private room and could not wait to leave. the only good thing about this place is that it is close to Kings Cross Station, but other than that there is not much else There is one pot in this hostel, and out of the eight ring burners, one works. The rest are... More

I'm an au pair and live with a family in sydney at the moment, but stayed here with a couple of friends visiting for the weekend. Thank god I only had to stay two nights.. I know that hostels are basic and did not go with high expectations, but this hostel was something else. On a positive note it is... More

The good thing about this hostel is cheap and very convenient to King Cross station, also they provide good free breakfast like eggs, cereals, milk, orange juice and toast! The bathroom are decent clean too each and every floor also and enough for every room in each floors, so no waiting issues. But the bedroom is a huge failure, the... More
