Booked a double room for 3 nights via wotif for A$99 per night, great price. Loved the location, it was only round the corner from Central Station. There were several eateries nearby and a convenience store as well. Front desk staff were always friendly and willing to help. There's a big bunch of brochures at the ground level that were... more

I have stayed at this hotel several times and thought i was quite good initially. However since my last stay I decided I could not go back again. The best thing about this hotel is its location. It's 3 minute walk from Central Station. It's clean and newly renovated. For this price you can only get a ensuite room in... more

We recently stayed at this hotel and it is close to the Central station, clean and with helpful office staff. However when we got to our room we were shocked to find it was not much wider than a hallway with the two single beds end to end, not much room for 2 people to pass each other,a small bathroom... more

Needed a stop-over for a night so only wanted cheap basic but clean hotel near the Central Railway station. This hotel ticked all the boxes. Paid $135 for a superior Queen and single but was upgraded to a Family room so couldn't be happier. Very spacious room with two Queens and a single. Furnishing was simple and basic, but everything... more

Clean, renovated, basic rooms. Internet charges are excessive - $12 per hour, or $20 for 24 hours !! I stayed for business, so the wireless internet charges affected me greatly :( However, if you are staying here for leisure purposes, then there are lots of cheap internet cafes around. The hotel is located around the corner from Central Railway Station... more

I booked this hotel for the first leg of my Australia trip in 2008 before I carried on to see my friends in south australia. I actually booked after reading reviews here and knowing that for a reasonable price I would get a clean and well located place to stay. The service was great with the owners at the time... more

We stayed in a family room (4 adults) for 2 nights. The room was HUGE! It was in a 'L' shape with a window at one end, fridge, desk and TV. There were 2 double beds and one single. The double beds were placed so you couldn't see each other - good for privacy. Big double wardrobe. The bathroom was... more

I would echo most of the previous positive comments. Our room was a little over A$700 for a week through Wotif and we got a fairly spacious room one floor up from reception with a good view of the street and no traffic noise (I guess the configuration of rooms varies widely in this strange shaped building). There are plenty... more

Stayed here with a fantastic price on a "secret" deal on what turned out to be the busiest weekend in Sydney since the Olympics. Rooms are small but have been done up very nicely, same with the bathrooms. Was excited to get the top floor, until I found the window looked out onto a brick wall, but the way the... more

Cheap deal via "secret" hotel booking site. Location is just off the Central train station. It's a little quiet at night as it's the only business open on this short street so it might frighten single travellers although your feeling of safety may be more based on perception than reality as Sydney is quiet safe. Hotel has limited front desk... more
