If all you are looking for is a place to sleep and leave stuff if your out in the city then this place is adequate, not great but adequate. I will say that the beds themselves were comfortable enough and I slept well but if you are intending to spend any time at all in your room, to say the... More

I stayed here at the suggestion of a friend since we were on a tight budget. I shopped around and this just seemed to be the cheapest in a good location for us to get to where we needed to go. Even though this is budget accommodation it was still $100+ a night which is not worth it for this... More

I have just re-read the reviews incase I have the wrong hotel (this one is on Elizabeth street) I am totally amazed that no-one has entered anything about the noise!!! As most reviews say, the rooms are small and basic and the windows leave a lot to be desired! But the bed is comfortable and has clean sheets and the... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights when we went to Sydney to see the Lion King. It was a great location, easy to get to being right opposite Central Station. There were heaps of great restaurants in the area, and it was just a short walk to the theatre. The check-in staff were great, very friendly and... More

We got a double room for 79AUD. Very comfy bed, free wifi and computer in the room. Mini fridge, ensure bathroom, little bit tight. . Staff very polite and helpful. The only thing I didn't like about the room was that it had 2 big windows facing a parking lot. Apart from that, it was a very good stay for... More

Plus points: Clean room with en suite shower and WC; comfortable beds and adequate hanging space. TV with remote. Computer and free wifi. It is close to the train station and centre of city. Reasonable price for its location. Minus points: No hand basin!!! Just a kitchen sink with no plug. Decor a bit dull.

For a cheap and convenient place to sleep Central Private Hotel is a winner. Yes it is very average for decor but as a place to sleep it does it's job very well. The room had a TV, computer and a shower/ toilet and mini fridge. Location was excellent just a short walk from Central Station.

Yes, this hotel is cheap, but I would strongly suggest to cough up a few extra dollars and to get a better place. In my room, the Wifi did not work. The carpets in the hallway were very dirty. The room had a weird smell and was incredibly hot (even though is was not very warm outside).

The Place itself is very lousy for the price: Cheap and Cheerful is one thing, but this is very very basic. Wifi and PC in the room is nice, but no AC and it got very hot. We didn't care too much since it was a place to sleep after a night out. The problem came when we opened the... More
