We had to give $100 cash deposit when we arrived. This was very inconvenient. The bathroom had broken fixtures, including the towel rail so there was no where to put our towels. The hotel offer a reduced price for the council car park. This was very unorganised. They ran out of tickets (according to the parking attendant this happens a... More

Spend 2weeks in there with my friend.. and loved it! Good location (only 15min walk to main street of Sydney). There is a nice rooftop with pretty good view while sun is shining and sipping a couple drinks.Room was clean and room service worked properly. Hotel staff was friendly. They have pretty awesome movies in reception which u can borrow... More

We chose this due to the transport links. Be aware - this is clearly a party hotel, and as such had repeated warnings about smoking in the room... which was kinda overkill. $100 cash deposit.. not too flashy and the keycard was pretty dodgy. Front door was covered in notices and it all felt very downmarket. The rooms themselves -... More

Travelled for work overnight, wanted somewhere close by & good price. Hotel easy to find, close to eateries, nightlife & train station. The place is a bit dreary looking, but the room was neat & clean, modern bathroom and bed was comfortable. Was quiet the night I stayed. Wasn't impressed that $100 cash security deposit required instead of a credit... More

We paid $651.50 for 4 nights. The first room we were put in was so terrible I asked to be changed. The new room was not a lot better. There was a strong smell of effluent, all the furniture and crockery was second hand (they still had the vinnies price stickers on them) and in shocking condition. The fridge was... More

This hotel was my worst choice ever. Never go back again. Very close to subway station, but in a very bad district. The staff (the owner) was extremly rude. The room was dirty didn't worse a dollar. Do not reccomend.

The location is fantastic, being close to many attractions and most of the cool places to go out for drinks downtown. The room was clean, lots of space, the tv worked good and had lots of channels and the receptionist was friendly and helpful.

I stayed in this Hotel for six nights. It cost me $698. Only thing they got right was friendly receptionist. Even a budget motel would have been better than that place. 1) Lift was awful - scary and always felt like an earthquake jolt when you arrived on the floor 2) Wooden blinds in the room had a couple of... For starters to get here from Kings Cross you have to walk down a street littered in brothels and takeaways. We had problems with noise, a barely fitted toilet seat and a huge cockroach in the bathroom. Not what you want at 6:30am in a rush for the Airport.

My partner and i were staying in a very bad hostel when we discovered lido suites on booking.com and were pleasantly surprised to find that 4 nights here was only $50 more than the bad hostel. The hotel has recently been renovated so the bathrooms are decent. The rooms are spacious and the staff really helpful. We left some of... More
