Stayed here on a trip to Sydney with friends. It is smack bang in the middle of Kings Cross so maybe not a great location if you're with your mum, but so close to the train station with easy access all over Sydney. We stayed in a triple room with 1 x single and 1 x queen, small kitchenette and... More

I had low expectations as this accomadation was so cheap however the room was large, clean and had everything advertised (inc. microwave, aircon, hairdryer), in my opinion we got more than we paid for. No disturbaces from outside or other guests, the staff were happy to help with anything. 30 minute walk to the Opera House; Coles and atms closeby.... More

Very bad place to stay. On the first day my partner and I found bugs in our room. Little did we know they were bed bugs. Told the staff downstairs and we were told it would be fixed by the time we got back from our activities for the day, came back in the afternoon and was told that it... More

stayed in this location once, really far away from the city centre though I do know how to get around to the area. The room is not that good, but consider very nicee within that area and the size of the hotel. No service, bad house keeping and the reception kep calling around 10am to ask whether we will be... If you wish to enjoy very bad hotels, then you've hit the jackpot here. In our experience, their website is a complete misrepresentation of the real experience. This is not a contemporary, modern experience, and a few nice professional photos should not be enough reason to book this hotel. The best bit of staying at Lido Suites was checking out.... More

Used Lido suites as long term stay. Positives- Location and price suited me perfectly.Spacious and clean room.Carlos and Nat were great staff, should train others on how to be welcoming and personable. Negatives-Treated with suspicion and rudeness by certain staff.(based on some bad previous guests, not fair!). Broken blinds, faulty keycards also need addressing.

We had to give $100 cash deposit when we arrived. This was very inconvenient. The bathroom had broken fixtures, including the towel rail so there was no where to put our towels. The hotel offer a reduced price for the council car park. This was very unorganised. They ran out of tickets (according to the parking attendant this happens a... More

Spend 2weeks in there with my friend.. and loved it! Good location (only 15min walk to main street of Sydney). There is a nice rooftop with pretty good view while sun is shining and sipping a couple drinks.Room was clean and room service worked properly. Hotel staff was friendly. They have pretty awesome movies in reception which u can borrow... More

We chose this due to the transport links. Be aware - this is clearly a party hotel, and as such had repeated warnings about smoking in the room... which was kinda overkill. $100 cash deposit.. not too flashy and the keycard was pretty dodgy. Front door was covered in notices and it all felt very downmarket. The rooms themselves -... More

Travelled for work overnight, wanted somewhere close by & good price. Hotel easy to find, close to eateries, nightlife & train station. The place is a bit dreary looking, but the room was neat & clean, modern bathroom and bed was comfortable. Was quiet the night I stayed. Wasn't impressed that $100 cash security deposit required instead of a credit... More
