From the moment we were met off the cute Scotland Island ferry right up until we left, we had the most amazing stay at Scotland Island Lodge. Rosemary & Colin are the best hosts you could wish for, very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The room that we had was perfect, our own private space with bathroom and hot tub. The... more

We spent a weekend at Scotland Island and were delighted with the hospitality that Rosemary and Colin extended to us. The unique location of the BnB was the draw card for us and we weren't disappointed. Pittwater is a spectacular setting and the water access only to the Lodge was something we hadn't experienced before. Pittwater has a myriad of... more

Scotland Island Lodge is an excellent 'B&B' in a beautiful and wonderful location - superb accommodation and great food. We were lucky to find this place for our first trip to Australia. Just right for Sydney - not too far away and getting there by the ferry from Manley was always a pleasure Colin and Rosemary are fantastic hosts and... more

My partner and I had a wonderful weekend at Rosemary & Colin's gorgeous lodge. Rosemary & Colin were so hospitable, making us feel right at home, without being pushy. Our room was spacious, light and airy, with water views. And then there's the food.....Rosemary had no trouble catering for my wheat allergy & my partner's lactose intolerance. We ate like... more

Right from the start this is a great experience. How many places bother to greet you at the ferry with offers to help with luggage and to lead you the (short) distance to the lodge. Rosemary and Colin have something unique here, Sumptuous, tasteful accomodation combined with gourmet standard food. All this and the charm of Pittwater as well. Cannot... more

After three weeks of travel ending up in the frantic hustle and bustle of Sydney we needed to chill out in natural surroundings prior to our return to the UK.A chance newspaper article resulted in our visit to this splendid Island retreat only a 35 -40 min. drive from Sydney. Imagine a romantic water taxi that whisks you out to... more

We stayed at Scotland Island Lodge for a long weekend in August and wish we could have stayed longer. It is a fabulous B&B hideaway on the North Eastern side of the island, owned and run by Colin and Rosemary. Scotland Island Lodge has got three rooms; a king size ensuite, and a queen and twin rooms which share a... more

Scotland Island is located in Pittwater with extensive views over the Kuringai National Park. We arrived at Church Point within 60 minutes of leaving Sydney Airport, courtesy of Collaroy Airport Services. Access to Scotland Island is via either the ferry or water taxi. We took the ferry which was a mini cruise of the southern end of Pittwater. Pittwater took... more

Victoria, British Columbia was receiving record winter rain fall & Sydney had yet to be discovered, "by Dave & Diane that is." The Spectacular City proved to be a haven of beautiful Architecture and Natural History, which we explored for three days. We had no idea, at that moment, that we were only one hour away from our next accommodation,... more

My wife, 2 children and I stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. Colin and Rosemary were accomodating and gracious hosts, going out of their way to please and provide. The lodge was impecably clean, and very tastful. The food provided was delicoius, and their company delightful. Bravo on continuing the warm memories of my childhood Island! more
