Im currently laying on a 3 inch foam mattress ( well 2 side by side as I'm in a "double bed") on a home made bed frame, in a VERY small room with a even smaller bathroom. The room is clean but tiny, defiantly not what i expected for what i paid for. The parking is a dingy lot down... More

What do you expect for a 2 star hotel? Cheap. Clean. Friendly staff. Great location. Tiny. But has a nice boho charm. Walking distance to Enmore Theatre and Newtown Social Club. Good parking. I often stay here for overnight events. I wouldn't make it my base camp coz it's not close to main tourist attraction or very comfortable fo a... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night, we booked it at the last minute before a concert at the Enmore Theatre. Didn't expect much for a 2 star hotel. Room was very small but clean.Bathroom really tiny, old & worn. Bedding was clean. Excellent location. It was overpriced but served its purpose.

The location is fantastic - you pretty much won't get a better place to stay in Newtown on a budget. I really appreciated the free secured parking. The downsides were that the bed was rock hard and was two singles pushed together to make a double, and our room had several small cockroaches crawling around. Yuk! I've stayed in worse... More

Bare lightbulbs, rotting bathroom doors, two single beds pushed together to make a double... I've stayed in hostel dorms that were much nicer. The only good thing about this place is the excellent location. Still, I feel that it's overpriced for what it is.

Stayed here overnight while up in Sydney for Russell Howard's show at the Enmore. Great place if you just want a cheap doss in the heart of Newtown. Staff are very pleasant and obliging. Rooms are no great shakes, but good value at the price. Next time I think we’ll pay the extra $20 or so a night and have... More

I was worried this place would be dirty and noisy after reading the reviews, but the location was perfect and it was within price range so we took a chance. We stayed for 2 nights over a weekend in a double ensuite room and it was exactly what we were after. It was quite, private, comfortable. In the heart of... More

The 2 receptionist were courteous and accommodating they were the only reason I didn't check out, however they were not on duty but had to ring on a phone to get someone to attend.First night was awful and decided I might be jet lagged and the others in the hotel were noisy and the smoke billowed through the windows, I... Stayed for 1 night (19/4/14) in a double en suite room. Paid $129, awesome considering Saturday night of Easter long weekend and included parking. Was greeted by friendly staff and checked in promptly. Our room was up a flight of stairs (didn't see a lift) room 16. Basic room, clean and with a small balcony. Awesome location, awesome price, friendly... More

We stayed here over the weekend. We knew we were up for a budget motel...Staff friendly and entrance looked nice...when we entered our room all looked in order clean and basic...however that night when we returned all the cockroaches came out...I counted about 30 in the bathroom...I think its more the area rather than it being unclean. A very basic... More
