No off road car parking even though it is advertised as having this. A public car park was recommended being a good 5 mins walk away. Ensuite very very small. Rooms very noisy. Rooms smelly. more

This was a nice hotel, very close to the bright lights of kings cross and to the station. Rooms are excllent value for money, good size and clean, with fridge, kettle, crockery, tea/coffee, TV. We stayed a long weekend at this hotel. It is about 20m off the "strip" on Darlinghurst Road which is the lively red light part of King's Cross. Room was not cleaned/made up in the five days we were there and they gave us clean towels once only because we asked for them. Staff at the front desk very unfriendly. more

We stayed in Springfield Lodge for 7 nights and it wasn't a comfortable stay. First of all, the room we got was very basic - no carpets on the floor. When we arrived very late in the afternoon and the room wasn't ready! The room was cold and noisy. You could hear the crashing of plates and cutlery of Petrol Cafe while they are open, and noisy guests at all other times. Sound proofing is non-existant and the bedding was horrible. Tiny room,a big hole in my blanket(God knows if they ever wash/dryclean),no drinking water available,people shouting in corridors at night & to top it all an unfriendly staff.I had a pathetic experience & would never reccomend this 'overtly priced with poor services' lodge to anyone. more
