We spent 10 nights there in both a king-size room and the apartment. The room was clean and the apartment was ok but a little dirty/dusty. The beds were decent as well as the pillows. The hotel is only 2 min from the subway and the apartment 4-5. Kings cross is only a couple of stops from the central station.... More

I booked this hotel primarily because of its close proximity to both King's Cross station and Darling Harbour, and it doesn't disappoint in that regard - 30 minutes walk to the harbour bridge via Woolloomooloo or 15 minutes by train (we mainly walked) I was in Sydney mostly on business, so the low price didn't hurt either. The staff were... More

First of all: there are better hotels in that category in the area, but we wanted to give this one a try cause to some good reviews online. Positive: - very central (close to Kings Cross station) - quiet because in a small road even though close to the party areas in that section of town - rooms were very... More

Stayed for three nights during the City to Surf. The staff are very helpful, rooms are clean and neat and it is close to some great little restaurants. I love the convenience of its proximity to public transport.Buses and trains are the ideal way to access the CBD and Circular Quay, as well as Bondi and other beaches. The drawback... More

We booked a few rooms with different bed arrangements in each room. The king bedroom had a much small bathroom than the double bedroom. So if there's only two people and you don't care about how much room you have in the bed, I would opt for the double bedroom with the bigger bathroom. Some rooms will have no view... More

Spent one night. Very well placed, near the train station. Interesting neighbourhood and walking distance to the CBD. Staff friendly and helpful and room was clean. I had a very good breakfast at the cafe bellow.

With a competitive price, I think it's good for staying in Sydney for couple days. It's small but clean and easy to get there by either shuttle bus or subway. It's very near King Cross, the heart of Darlinghurst area but still quiet. It's in front of a food supermarket which opened till 9.30 p.m, so we could easily bought... More

We booked a budget basement room, and despite the nametag given it was still absolutely fine and much much better than a hostel (which was more expensive) we did stay in. The room was spacious and had an ensuite which was great (small, but it had one!) Staff were very helpful with directions and booking excursions for us, the rooms... More

We always stay here when in Sydney. Walk to City, Sydney Cricket Ground, Botanic Gardens etc. Right in the heart of the famous Kings Cross district. Train and bus nearby if needed. Always neat and clean and the staff are very helpful. No better place to kick off your stay in Australia. Geoff n Jeanie Richardson

Stayed one night for work. Location is perfect, 2 mins walk to train station, Harris farm across the road, and the main strip with restaurants all within 1 - 2 mins walk. Room had a single bed, tv, a/c, chair and desk and a nice view out to the city skyline. Tiny bathroom with shower but was all that was... More
