Sydney Harbour B&B is very conveniently located close to Circular Quay (~5min walk from the station using the lift & Cahill Walk), has a very nice "heritage" atmosphere you won't find in more standard accomodations, and more than anything else James and Linda are very pleasant hosts. At first I was a bit afraid the location close to the Harbour... More

My brother, sister & I stayed for only one night in the Parkes room so we could attend the Anzac Dawn service. After walking into the room & checking it all out the first thing my sister said was 'can we stay longer'. Sums it up really. Sure it was not perfect & the design a little odd but it... More

Location is perfect for exploring the Rocks area (highly recommend the free walking tour!). We were in the Parkes room on the ground floor--very spacious, if an unusual elongated linear configuration (entry-queen bedroom-sitting area/kitchen-bathroom-2nd bedroom). Hot breakfast was filling and good, and service was friendly. Just wish the room were slightly cleaner--old food & beverages left in fridge, major dust... More

Stayed for just one night with my adult daughter. If you're looking for an authentic Australian Heritage experience this is it! Lovely hosts and good complimentary breakfast. Would certainly recommend for affordable accommodation in a great location

If one absolutely must stay at a B&B in The Rocks, then this is probably a good choice; there aren't many. But for the price, The Sydney Harbour B&B is not good value. I stayed with family in the Parkes room, which was cramped and dirty (mildew in the shower, dust and insects in the lights, dust on all surfaces,... More

Dear Seedboy Thank you for taking time to review Sydney Harbour B&B. We are a little disappointed to read that we didn't quite hit the mark with you and your family. We take the cleanliness of our B&B of utmost importance and we have addressed your issues raised personally. It is important to know we do take pride that we... More

This b and b is in a perfect position for exploring The Rocks area of Sydney. Places include The Opera House, Harbour Bridge and fabulous Botanical Gardens. Along with all the bars and restaurants around Circular Quay. We stayed in the Macquire Room which was traditionally furnished and the bed was really comfortable. James and Linda are fantastic hosts and... More

Very good bed and breakfast in an excellent location with very friendly staff. I had the Lauchan room on the 2nd floor which was large with a big, comfortable double bed and 2 singles. There was also a safe, an iron and ironing board. The room faced the road to the bridge. The private bathroom which was a few steps... More

What a great place to stay whilst exploring Sydney. Nestled at the top of the rocks next to the harbour bridge this b n b ticked all the boxes! The hosts were welcoming, the hot and cold breakfast was delicious. There is onsite parking available which saved us a heap. I loved the ambiance of the heritage listed home, the... More

Very good value for money and close to bridge and opera house (within walking distance). Not the Ritz but clean and everything needed in rooms (Hair Dryer, fridge, wardrobe, TV, air conditioning). Again, very good value for money. Good breakfast provided quickly. Lovely hosts. thanks
