Really friendly hosts, we had the loft townhouse, private, clean, well appointed and really central to the city. Great brekky and the markets at the Rocks on Saturday were an added benefit. We'll be back. Pricing was very sensible - loved the quaint ambience of the place and the decor.

James and Linda are so warm and welcoming! The B & B is in an excellent location, The Rocks and you can have a walk to everything in downtown Sydney. We are near the Four Seasons Hotel and the Marriot. Restaurants are delicious and we love being hear the harbour, bridge and opera house. Buy the Opal transit pass and... More

A beautiful Heritage property in the best location imaginable. My sister and I loved staying in the Rocks and discovered something new every day. Great cafes and higgeldy streets full of history, right near the CBD but away from the hustle and bustle and right near Circular Quay, the Sydney Opera House, Botanical Gardens and so on. James and Linda... More

Had s one night stay. We were warmly welcomed. Had a pieceful nights sleep right in the middle of Sydney. I Was expecting that it would be noisy being in that location and an older building. So that was a pleasant surprise.

This B&B is in the budget price range for Sydney's B&B's and on the whole is good value for money. Our room was clean, neat and had what we needed including big, clean & fluffy white towels. The ground level courtyard forms a nice retreat when wanting to take time out to rest and serves as a lovely place to... More

My husband & I stayed this B & B for 3 nights on our recent visit to Sydney, Aus. The location is out of this world! It is located in the Rocks & walking distance for all major attractions. I received an e-mail a few days before arriving welcoming me to the B & B. i was able to communicate... More

JAMES & LINDA are the owners of this delightful business and you realise from the moment you arrive that they are at the top of their game. Exceptional service, unique ambiance, generous breakfast. Sydney Harbour bridge is right on the doorstep and you can stroll to the Quay in five minutes.

First of all, I ought to mention that this is the first time my family and I stayed at a bed and breakfast. When we travel, we've always previously stayed at large, ruputable, extravagant hotels full of amenties, absolutely including spas and gyms. We took a gamble to change our vacation practice and instead seek something small, personable, charming, and... More

Great location for walking to main city centre venues, and exploring The Rocks area; friendly and helpful hosts; heritage building. If you want a regular hotel with identikit rooms, there are lots of other places - if you want somewhere that's a bit quirky and that adds memories to your visit to Sydney, try it!

Perfectly located small B&B. Well renovated two late Victorian houses to create the B&B.Very welcoming hosts and our room had a great view of the Sydney Opera House. Nice courtyard at the back for the excellent breakfast or for quiet reading during the day. I'd recommend this place wholeheartedly

Staying in The Rocks

Neighborhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighborhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
