We had a room in the back at the top of the house. Quite comfortable and it was quiet enough to keep the windows open. The cooked breakfast was spectacular and filling. The location is up a bit of a hill, but this is typical for the Rocks. Good value compared with the alternatives. The owner was quite helpful and... more

You can't beat the location, within walking distance to everything, and Jeff is a wonderful host. Given the location, though, there is some traffic noise at night. This is an old historic building with great restaurants practically next door. Breakfast is average and nicely served inside or in the courtyard. Wireless internet is offered free of charge though only available... more

My wife and I just returned from a 10 day stay in Sydney for a wedding with 5 of the days spent at this B & B. Overall it was a positive experience. Jeff, the host is a nice guy, the location is right in the heart of the city, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast is huge. The... more

My husband was attending a course in the MLC building in Martin Place, and I decided to join him for the week . It took some time to talk him into staying at a B & B as he is used to staying at the big hotels when he travels , but a friend had recommended this place. It was... more

The b and b website is totally deceiving, the location is under a bridge, the room we had Parkes , was a dump, even had a spare bed in a kitchen, furniture was as listed on website except you wouldn't buy it in a junk shop. You can stay in a decent hotel for the same money. A bit grubby. more

Recently we had really good experiences with B&B-s, their informal approach to lodging lets you a better understanding to local living... So we checked the reviews here and went for BB Sydney Harbour. We spent there 4 nights in January, larger family. The location is really excellent, rooms are good size and nicely furnitured, hospitality was great (Jeff is a... more

We were at the end of a three week trip to Australia and New Zealand and happened to arrive back in Sydney on the day of the Mardi Gras parade. Finding a room proved to be very difficult, but Sydney Harbour B&B offered us the Parkes suite (there were four of us) which we accepted with gratitude. The best thing... more

This is a great B&B close to city and handy to everything. I loved the 1930's style rooms which fit the building and the Rocks prefectly. The rooms were spotless. I will be visting again. more

We stayed here for 4 nights over new year. The hotel is fabulous in every respect...location is great, right in the rocks so you can walk to the ferry, train, harbour bridge, opera house, restaurants, cafes and bars etc. The rooms were spacious, light, clean and had everything you could need. The staff are really friendly, Jeff couldn't have done... more

This B+B is in the Rocks which is the best area of Sydney as far as I am concerned. Its location is perfect with a short walk to the harbour area. Staff were generally helpfull and the breakfast was pretty good. You will not beat this place for value considering where it is. We did notice a couple of cockroaches... more
