This is a lovely, small boutique hotel in a fabulous location - walking distance to Paddington and heaps of cafes in Darlinghurst, Kings Cross and Potts Point.. Fabulous staff, nice little extras (Aesop toiletries, quality magazines), and delicious breakfast. Big atmospheric room with lovely furnishings, I look forward to staying again with my family.

What can I say - I had a fab stay at the Medusa Hotel! Started off my weeklong trip to Sydney with a night's stay at Medusa and couldn't have picked a lovelier place to start off with :) The hotel is set in the Darlinghurst area, which, while not in the heart of Touristville, Sydney (i.e not smack-dab at... Only stayed for one night but had a great experience. Staff were friendly, the room clean and comfortable, great toiletries and the hotel was trendy and quiet in a great area. Enjoyed the pastries left for guests near reception in the morning too. Highly Recommend

Beautiful hotel in a remodeled old building. The staff are exceptional! We stayed here for 2 nights with our dog, moving back to the US. Can't say enough about the place, the great guys who work the desk and perfect location. Will definitely stay again when coming back through Sydney.

We stayed here for 2 days before heading to Auckland. It is a nice boutique hotel and located in the great location that very easy walking distance to everything. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. The staff are very efficient. This is a very worth place to stay and a really good value.

I am travelling for business reasons but my first 4 days in Australia have been spent for leisure in Sydney and thanks to a friend I have been booked at the Medusa. It is a small hotel but the service is very personalised. Luke and the other members of the staff have been always so friendly and helpful. The room... More

Everything you'd want a boutique hotel to be. Quiet yet convenient. Attentive but discreet. Comfortable but not clinical. The rooms have everything we wanted - music, coffee, milk, champagne - and once you step outside the front door, you're only a few minutes from some of Sydney's best bars, restaurants and cafés

I have stayed here on 2 occasions, and it's a little gem:a boutique hotel right in the centre of everything. It is stylish, elegant, quiet, with very friendly staff and affordable rates. I will certainly stay here again on my next visit to Sydney. It's a beauty!

The room seemed small for our mountain of luggage (we're nearing the end of a six-week trip with several different wardrobe requirements), but had we had one bag each, I'm sure we'd have been happier here. Also, coming as we did from Bangkok, where we had a HUGE suite for $50, the price seemed high. Now that we've been in... More

My husband and I had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Medusa before relocating overseas. It s a gorgeous boutique hotel in Darlinghurst, close to some lovey cafes, bars and restaurants. The rooms are divine, the staff are just so friendly and helpful and it is within walking distance to the shops on Oxford Street, restaurants and bars on... More
