I am travelling for business reasons but my first 4 days in Australia have been spent for leisure in Sydney and thanks to a friend I have been booked at the Medusa. It is a small hotel but the service is very personalised. Luke and the other members of the staff have been always so friendly and helpful. The room... More

Everything you'd want a boutique hotel to be. Quiet yet convenient. Attentive but discreet. Comfortable but not clinical. The rooms have everything we wanted - music, coffee, milk, champagne - and once you step outside the front door, you're only a few minutes from some of Sydney's best bars, restaurants and cafés

I have stayed here on 2 occasions, and it's a little gem:a boutique hotel right in the centre of everything. It is stylish, elegant, quiet, with very friendly staff and affordable rates. I will certainly stay here again on my next visit to Sydney. It's a beauty!

The room seemed small for our mountain of luggage (we're nearing the end of a six-week trip with several different wardrobe requirements), but had we had one bag each, I'm sure we'd have been happier here. Also, coming as we did from Bangkok, where we had a HUGE suite for $50, the price seemed high. Now that we've been in... More

My husband and I had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Medusa before relocating overseas. It s a gorgeous boutique hotel in Darlinghurst, close to some lovey cafes, bars and restaurants. The rooms are divine, the staff are just so friendly and helpful and it is within walking distance to the shops on Oxford Street, restaurants and bars on... More

My husband and I just returned from a five night stay at the Medusa. What an absolute delight! The location is perfect. A ten minute walk into town, or the restaurants of Surrey Hills or Potts Point. The rooms are spacious, spotless and I never heard any noise from outside or other guests. The kitchenette is ideal for snacks and... More

As a 2-3 time a year visitor to Darlinghurst I decided it was time to stay at the gorgeous Medusa and I wasn't disappointed. My husband accompanied me on this trip and while the room was quite small it was adequate. Loved the nice little touches, Lindt chocolates and Aesop toiletries. Comfortable bed and windows that open, allowing fresh air... More

My partner and I had planned our 'trip of a lifetime' to Australia for three years, and chose the Medusa for the Sydney portion of our stay. Everything about the Medusa was top notch. Centrally located in Darlinghurst, it was walking distance to restaurants, bars, nightlife and sightseeing. Accommodations were modern, spacious and comfortable, bathrooms included Aesop toiletries, and our... More

My husband and I recently stayed in this Hotel for the second time and could not fault the exceptional service provided and we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to one of the beautiful suites in the 'older' section along with private balcony. The suite was huge and very gorgeous and it was lovely to chill out on our private... More

I stayed here one night on business and really enjoyed my stay at this quirky little boutique hotel in Darlinghurst. The room was very small but serviceable and I loved that there was a bath and the Aesop toiletries just topped it off! I got great advice from the front desk about where to eat (lovely restaurants in Victoria St... More
