Booked a 1 bedroom apartment, room as expected, no view to speak of but clean and great location to see Sydney over 2 days. 2 mins from Darling Harbour, 15 mins walk to the Opera House, ferries etc. Staff helpful. Good value. Advantages - location Negatives - bathroom let it down being small in size, 2/3 size bath and not... more

I stayed with two friends at Mantra on Kent on a last minute trip to Sydney. I actually made a reservation just the day before our arrival, and the confirmation for our one-bedroom apartment was quick and I was pleased to find out that they had a special promotion through their website-you stay three nights and pay for two only.... more

We recently spent 4 nights at Mantra on Kent in a studio apartment and found it to be in a fantastic location, close to Darling Harbour and the City centre. The room was well equiped with a kitchen and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the noise you can hear in the hallways,... more

This hotel is very much in the three star range but given it's price and amenities, it represents excellent value. It is clean and tidy and it's proximity to Darling Harbour, the Queen Victoria Building and the railway station make it a good, reliable venue. Most rooms are apartments, some with balconies. There are no views of note as the... more

My wife and I stayed here for four nights in early September 2008. We had a studio apartment on the 18th floor with a partial view of Darling Harbour. The studio was quite spacious and very clean with fairly basic furnishings. The building appears to have been partially refurbished as some areas, notably the shower, showed evidence of age. Like... more

Stayed in this hotel for 1 night in a 1 bedroom apartment. Room was a nice size. Got the deal with a $25 fuel voucher. This was good value as it was only $10 more expensive and voucher is as good as cash at caltex service stations. It also included a 12 pm checkout which came in handy. Room was... more

We were two adults and three teenagers and had linked rooms (2004 and 2005). Check in and check out were efficient and the staff seemed very pleasant and helpful. Both of our rooms had self catering facilities and were clean with everything working. Perfect for a family of 4-5. Location is good for either Darling Harbour or the CBD. Short... more

We stayed in this place for 5 nights during our year long round the world trip. It is in an excellent location close to tdarling Harbour (5 mins walk) and the CBD, It has recently been taken over by Mantra, so maybe we got a special deal at 129 AUD per night but the roon/suite was FANTASTIC! We had a... more

I have stayed at a similar property in Melbourne previously, so when I was searching for somewhere to stay in Sydney, this hotel was a natural choice. I had read the reviews on trip advisor, and thought it sounded pretty good. I contacted the hotel directly for a quote on the price of rooms for the weekend I was to... more

This hotel has improved greatly since my first visit in December. Recent changes in staff and management has ensured this hotel is now a real winner. I would recommend for the business traveller, as the apartments are spacious and well appointed. I stayed in a one bedroom apartment which had a screen partition separating the bedroom to lounge room and... more
