This hotel stands in the heart of Kings Cross, the entertainment district of Sydney. Only two min walk to Kings Cross station (Sydney airport to Kings Cross station takes only 15 min by train), 10 min walk to Martin's place (CBD), 15 min walk to Circular Quay (Harbour Bridge and Opera House), and less than 20 min by bus and... When we checked in the receptionist told us that our room was not prepared yet. So she told us to wait for an hour and a half. Nearly two hours went by and more than 5 more customers got there rooms but our rooms were still not ready. It really was time consuming as we had booked a trip for... More

We stayed in this hotel for my 40th birthday weekend. We chose it due to its close proximity to Sydney sights and summer events (e.g. art exhibitions). We live in the Blue Mountains and miss the energy of the city. This hotel is very close to the NSW Art Gallery, Botanic Gardens, and the Sydney Opera House. The room was... More

There was a down side to this hotel....the aircon was only on for five hours (to save money) and thus we had a restless first night here. But the location is superb, the price very reasonable (given that it includes a cooked breakfast) and the facilities were fine. The staff were very helpful. If you need somewhere cheapish and cheerful... More

Great weekend away, close to restaurants, shopping, and was even able to walk into the city. Close to pubs, food and entertainment. Really enjoyed our stay, definitely return. Staff fantastic, van breakfast included.

Very good price for a basic room. Clean and confortable. Was very quiet around and you couldn't hear your neighbours (always a plus!) Staff were very friendly and the information pack they put together was very helpful. We arrived before check in began but they let us wait up in the breakfast room whilst they got it ready so we... Excellent location - very close to Woollomooloo wharf. Excellent value for money for Sydney. Quiet area and cheap secure parking. Rooms are a bit dated but very clean. Free breakfast in the morning is a bonus.

The room was small but it had a small balcony and the external door and window both had security screens which meant we could get plenty of fresh air without worrying about security. The hotel entry is also very secure and perhaps it needs to be as the street is small and a bit out of the way. Short walking... More

We were really pleasantly surprised with the quality of this hotel for the price that it was. We booked pretty last-minute and for a Saturday night, and the affordable rate gave us a basic, yet comfortable and clean room, as well as a full buffet breakfast. This kind of service is hard to find these days, and was a very... More
