Located very close to Hyde Park and within walking distance of the metro and CBD. A fine place to stay for the price. The rooms were small but that's to be expected for the price. There's a great breakfast shop next door and a good Thai restaurant across the street.

I had a queen room, and it was incredibly small. They do list room sizes on their website; I suggest measuring it out rather than going by the photos which are misleading. Cups were dirty as were the curtains. However location is great and staff are friendly. Probably not worth what we paid, but would be fine if you got... More

I stayed 1 night for business, arrived early and they had my room ready for me, which was perfect as I could leave my bags and get organised before my meeting. Check in & out was quick and easy. Room was comfortable and clean.

The staff were helpful and polite. The room, however was very small. There was mould in the shower door runner and the grate in the floor drain in the bathroom was loose and every time you stood on it, it would come out and potentially be quite dangerous. It's an ankle injury waiting to happen!

Despite the hotel building looks quite shabby, the interior (rooms, lobby and corridors etc) is ok and reasonable,it should be renovated not long ago . Due to the building site / land lot is in a triangular shape, most rooms are in a strange shape and layout created some unusable corner and gaps. This layout constraint make the small rooms... More

Great location, helpful staff, clean rooms. Short walk to the cbd with amazing shops. Main train station across the road 3 stops to the Opera house. Several great restaraunts and cafes on the circular quay. Public transport is very reliable, we bought an opal transport card which enabled us to catch the train and ferry.

We have stayed in this hotel a number of times as it is an easy walk from Central Railway Station and then a walk into main shopping district and then down to the Rocks near the harbour. Also Chinatown and Darling Harbour are nearby, and there is loads of shopping and food outlets to suit all budgets. They have completed... More

Very convenient. Just a little small, but had everything you needed. The people on the front desk were most helpful and very obliging. I would recommend the hotel and would certainly go back and stay again.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
