Only thing going for this place was really its location, there are lots to see and do around here. But however, the free breakfast could have been better. Super basic and would keep you full for about 20 minutes if lucky. Cons: Reeks of alcohol as soon as you walk in, and EXTREMELY noisy when the band plays. Band stops... More

If you can't handle stairs and / or street noise then this hotel is not for you. However if that's not a priority then the accommodation at this Irish Pub at The Rocks in Sydney is the best value for money place to stay. The rooms, while furnished without all the fancy gadgets and trimmings were large, clean and extremely... More

I must declared that I did not stay in this hotel. But this is what I experienced: six of us joined a cruise in Sydney. On the day we left the ship, we had a flight back home in the late afternoon. Therefore, we had some spare time but with all our luggages, we can go nowhere! (There is no... More

Did not look very inviting from the outside, but was much better inside. It did feel Irish and the Guiness was excellent. We sat in the bistro which was small and cosy. My wife had Irish Stew which she rated highly and my meal was quite good. I can usually clear the plate but not on this occasion. Service came... More

After taking in all the lovely attractions of the rocks decided to stop for a little rest. Nice historic pub. Sat outside and watched the world go bye. Had a couple of drinks, pleasant music in the background. Friendly service. Good one. Great spot to catch your breath even have lunch.

Stayed here before leaving for a cruise. Location for that reason is great. Rooms are just basic, nothing flash. Ours was reasonably clean. Room was at the back, so at least quiet. Had to carry luggage up flights of stairs, no lift, so for anyone who would struggle with this go elsewhere. Though staff member did help. The staff were... More

We stayed on a Sat and Sun night in one of the en-suite rooms. Rooms are VERY basic with outdated, cheap furniture. And generally, it was pretty dirty. Bathroom had a lot of mold and it didn't smell good. Also, wifi didn't work in our room, so if you wanted to check email or weather or plan activities, you had... More

I've seen better place, but to sleep for one night this place enough. well located, good access. If you need comfort, do not use this hotel. when you sleep alone, its goodd choice. Staff was ok, however could be better.

This Pub was built in 1915 and is a landmark for tourists, particularly Irish ones. It has a great vibe to it with live Irish and rock music most nights. It is at the top of George Street right under the iconic Harbour Bridge and in the heart of the historic Rocks precinct where Australia was first settled. The rooms... More
