Room is filthy, hot, smelly, ... just any bad word would fit to this hostel. I don't know how to say.. a teenager might 'like' this place but guess I'm too old :P Been through a lot of cities in the world but this, is terrible.

This hostel caters to its market - it is definitely a party hostel. I needed a place to crash for a few nights while in Sydney so I ended up booking a bed in an all girls 4 bed dorm hoping it might be a bit quieter than a larger room. First impressions weren't great - all the smokers milling... More

Thank You for your review. Yes you've summed up our target audience, whilst anyone is welcome and we have people of all ages stay with us, the majority are young (18+) backpackers. We are usually their first stop after leaving home, so we assist with CV's, interviews, teach them how to wash up and basically enter the grown up world... More

First of all, it's a pretty big place. Lots and lots of rooms and really mazey-like interior as the name would suggest. I'm wondering about the bad reviews, maybe the people are used to too good... It's a backpacker place for christ sake! It's organized well: The front desk is open 24hrs, the common areas and bathrooms are kept very... More

I booked a private room here so I could leave all my belongings without having to cart them to the luggage room all the time while I looked for a place to live. The room literally had nothing besides the bed--not even a chair or shelf or table, so everything ended up splayed all over the floor. The front desk... More

Since coming to Australia I've slept in a lot of hostels (20) and maze is by far the best. It's clean all the time, something you don't find with most hostels. The kitchen is nice and has everything you need (apart from an oven but you don't get that in any hostel) the staff are great, from the manager down... More

Was a hostel virgin before maze and didn't really know what to expect as the reviews are very mixed on here and I was expecting the worst... However I loved every second! The rooms were a good size (stayed in a twin) a bit old fashioned but clean! toilets and showers cleaned on a very regular basis to a good... More

Just left, Stayed in this hostel for around a month. Location is good as is the staff is general. The only thing I will say is the housekeeping staff (which are people working for accommodation) were very very rude. I stayed in the green area and the 2 English girls that done the housekeeping there regularly were so grumpy and... More

Maze hostel where to begin...... I lived in maze for a couple of months! I was placed in a room with other long termers which was great! they have a big kitchen but be careful with fridges, I have several times had meats stolen from my fridge bag! stupid backpackers..... there's a tv room, and a pool table area, great... Maybe I was unlucky to be there on Friday night. I have to admit that maybe since i am getting older, i start to hate drunk people. But at Saturday morning i woke up very early (like 5.30 am) since i had a flight, and the hostel was so dirty and horrible that i cannot recommend this place to those... More

the room was enough for us, and the location was really close to China town, lots of resturants you can chose and it's much better than city site. 位置真的很棒,剛唐人街非常近,是熱鬧的區域!
