The room was nice with the price. I just loved the environment of the hotel. Got kitchen where the guest can cook at their own. Fridge to store food and the people was just too friendly. The best hotel i've ever been. I would love to come again...

I won't waste your time and I'm going to say I lived in Maze backpacker for 3.5 months so I know this place very very well and all the people who worked there. I have so many things to say I don't even know where I should start. I won't lie and I will say that the time I spent... More

Great night outs, with the team and guests. Very clean but toilets and showers need upgrading. Great central location, for jobs and site seeing. Would recommend this place to any one I meet on my travels.

Maze was a great hostel to go party in. If you want a great location and to get some good deals in clubs this is the place for you. Best kitchen for hostel i have seen so far. Building was kept very clean but the bathrooms are in dire need of refurbishment. Definitely recommended

This hostel was booming! I did like the private room prices, but other than that I disliked staying here. The place was pretty dirty I thought. The rooms had a funky smell too. The place is literally a maze though! A bit loud at night and full of youngsters. :) Excellent location.

We are glad you had a great time at Maze! We aim to attract a certain type of fun, independent traveller, and these are the type who get the most out of the Maze experience. Many tend to extend their stays and get lost in the Maze for an extended period! Nicole and Ruth our new events co-ordinators do a... More

Wasn't a massive fan of this hostel. It was quite dark and my experience didn't start well as my taxi driver didn't have a clue where it was. I think in Sydney there are nicer hostels. There's a bar hostel near central station...can't remember the name. But also if you're staying in Sydney for at least a month just get... More

Thank You for your review. We do understand that not everyone would like our VERY Central location in Sydney, being located near to the lowest priced CBD supermarket (Coles) and Sydney’s Night Life and a short hop to Sydney’s attractions. Or our friendly team offering Entertainment every day and evening for FREE. Whilst we don’t currently own Sydney’s Taxis, if... More

We spent 2 nights in a double room. When we entered the room, the rubbish bin was overloaded with waste and the linen looked like somebody else had just used them before. The shared bathroom was quite clean, the staff was friendly and helpfull and the location is great (5min to Central, 10min to Darling Harbour). Overall, it's not a... More

Room is filthy, hot, smelly, ... just any bad word would fit to this hostel. I don't know how to say.. a teenager might 'like' this place but guess I'm too old :P Been through a lot of cities in the world but this, is terrible.
