I chose this hotel not knowing Sydney at all. The price was right and it seemed not far from the CBD. It turned out to be in a perfect location for our interests with excellent restaurants (Cho Cho San and Gazebo) and close proximity for walking to the water and beautiful parks (the botanic gardens). The hotel staff were friendly... More

This is not a hotel where you would want to hang out but it's great if you just want a place to sleep. We had a double room and it was comfortable. There was enough wardrobe space, a fridge and possible to make your own coffee or tea. I thought they could have had more shelves or hooks in the... More

The best part? Jonathan at the front desk. He answered all of our questions & gave great directions. Yes it's old & a bit shabby, but the location is Fabulous. AM Coffee & the Banana Toast next door at the street level bistro was perfect!!

This place is in a great location but that's where it ends. We checked in and the guy at the front desk was great very friendly and nice. We went up stair to the room and dust on the fan blades rust on the fridge dust on the mirrors the toilet seat was stuck down with tape. The beds were... More

Stayed here late last year for 4 nights. We booked the superior king suite because the pictures online looked great! Until we walked in.. there was no lifts (which was ok because we knew this was the case) but we didnt know we'd be on the top floor with a 20kg suitcase to carry up! Anyway my partner and i... More

We arrived late on Thursday night and as they don't have reception late is was great that the key was where they said it would be. The room is compact but very clean, the amenities are good. The only downside is the lack of aircon - this meant the windows need to be left open and as the Maisonette is... More

For the price we paid the accommodation was very very disappointing. The 'hotel' is very old and run down. We stayed in a king room with ensuite. Cupboards were taped shut and falling apart. The louvers on the windows were broken. The fan was noisy and very wobbly. No aircon. The ensuite was tiny; missing a shelf above the sink;... More

the photos on the website is a bit misleading. yes, it's located in a very good location - 10 minutes walk from the train station and there's a Coles nearby. But the room looks tired and it gets noisy at night. Our room had a ceiling fan which works fine except when it is at the max mode it sounds... More

This hotel is perfect for backpackers that would like their own room. The rooms are quite big and got a fridge, micro and so on but not a full kitchen so you can't make a proper meal. They offer a laundry room for 3 dollars, very nice! Close to the botanic garden and the area around offers lots of pubs,... More

Okay, lets ignore for a second that the room I stayed in was literally a shoebox (I guess that comes with the price), and the shared bathroom (which resulted in me locking myself outside), this is not actually a bad place, more because of the location than anything else. Okay, their wifi is expensive (and anything more than free is... More
