The staff were fantastic! The rest, ummmm not so good. When I traveled as a youngster, this would be heaven after six months of camping. Now as an oldie and frequents a much more luxurious style of hotel, nothing is foolproof of course, this was grade 2 in my estimation. The company I consult for sent me there so no... More

Clean, quiet and friendly place to stay, very good location, close to hospital. Lots of food outlets close by. Great for parking with underground secure parking. Easy to get to when travelling from South. I would not hesitate to stay at Rydges again and look forward to booking it again when I am in Sydney next.

Great location for visiting loved ones at the nearby hospital. Efficient service at the reception. Free WIFI was appreciated as we need to contact overseas relatives for updates on loved one at the hospital.

I've stayed here a few times now as it's often handy for what I need to do in Sydney plus the price is ok. The hotel is tired, clean but not impressive, even on the 7th floor road noise is intrusive. Don't get excited by the free wifi - it doesn't work on the city side of the 7th floor

We stayed here in late April, attracted by the price. We have stayed at multiple Rydges over the past two years, and we have been disappointed each time we have stayed. The Rydges Camperdown's initial impression was a hotel that is lacking ambiance and character. Entering the rooms, we were underwhelmed with the layout and the size, and furnishings. This... More

The dream beds they have are awesome!! The bathroom is a little run down but clean. Again it has shower curtains yuk yuk yuk!! One of my pet hates!! Anyway would stay... More

I went to this motel as it was close to some appointments I needed to attend. Although it was rated 3 star, it certainly has the potential to be 4 star very easily. The room was clean and neat. I paid for king size bed. It was fantastic and very comfortable. The check in staff were polite and helpful. Bathroom... More

We arrived at our room and it was a disabled wheelchair room. Could not understand why. It was a cold day so we tried to turn the heating on turned the thermostat up but made no difference rang reception and were told it was set all the same in the building and they would send a heater to our room.... Very convenient proximity to RPA. Handy to restaurants. Rooms were Clean and spacious and helpful staff. We were a bit disappointed with the quality of the breakfast. Apparently we got a discount but wouldn't know it as it cost us $20 per head and would never have eaten that much worth of breakfast. Also charged extra for coffee. Breakfast overpriced.

Check in on line was easy and straight forward, arrival handled well and quickly. Room was clean and bed excellent for a good night's sleep. The hotel has been around for many years under various brands but didn't seem 'tired'. We didn't dine at the hotel so can't comment on the food.
