Nice hostel in good location although can be noisy as on the main street. Rooms are good size & clean with lockers. Staff r friendly & helpful. Bathrooms r clean enough but could be doing with some work done. Kitchen can get a little busy at nights but other times is ok. Good free things especially pancakes on sundays. I... More

This is a party hostel so there's a lot of noise every night. The people don't really respect the fact taht other would like to sleep at night. It is located near Kings Cross train station so you can get to the city centre easily with train. However the street has quite a lot of adult shops and clubs so... More

Hello guys :) I have to share my experience with you all. I was staying in an expensive and boring hostel around Sydney city early june this year then a week later I decided to go to Kings Cross and find some more fun and nice people. Guess what, I stayed at Hump for more than 3 weeks and made... More

This hostel was terrible. We stayed 10 nights. The first shower I had the tap literally fell off the wall when I was turning it shooting out a freezing cold jet of water. I had to stand there and hold the tap over the water to stop it shooting out all over the bathroom while the one staff member sorted... More

This was the first hostel my friends and I stayed in since arriving in Australia, we booked to stay 4 nights and ended up staying for over 2 weeks. Having travelled down the East Coast I can safely say Hump is still my favourite hostel, ever! The staff are so friendly, and you are guaranteed to meet some amazing friends... More

Very professional and courteous staff and very helpful. They go out of their way to help you with what you need and are very friendly. Most places treat you like another guest this place treats you like family. They have tons of activities that go on to help guest save money and to get to know other guest.

Everyone is friendly (staff and guest). This is the most sociable hostel I've stayed in so far. You will definitely make friends here. The hostel have events on everyday/night. However a lot of the people who stay here are long term lodgers. So if you are only there for a short period of time you can feel left out a... More

Visited Sydney for the writers festival/vivid at the start of June - it's in central KingsX so it's great for nightlife, the hostel itself put on a good mix of events too. In the day time there's free tea and coffee and wifi, and a huuuuge TV in a homely living room for lazy days when you're not feeling another... More

An amazing hostel for poor travellers who love to socialise and party! There are so many free things associated with this hostel - free breakfasts (including Sunday pancakes), free events, free transport from the airport on a 4+ night stay. There's something organised every night including free nightclub entry or free food/beer. The staff are also exceptionally friendly! The actual... More

Originally booked 2 nights and ended up staying for 15. Only reason we left is because we are travelling otherwise I could have seen us staying much longer. It's in a great location, right on the famous strip and only 2 mins walk from kings cross station. Very handy 24/7 mcdonalds right opposite if yoir peckish at 4am too! The... More
