Unpleasant stay.... parking is in the courtyard of the building and is very limited, beds were the worst Ive ever seen in a hostel, no headboard or proper bed base, terrible mattress. Over $100 for the twin room en suite for the night was robbery. Rooms were poorly cleaned, dirty carpets, old bed linen, one small towel each, a discoloured... More

I have been traveling for the past two years and have stayed at countless hostels, this is by far one of the worst. My friend and I stayed at Alfred Park two night which was two nights too many. The commons areas are awkward and not well lit. The room itself was filthy. The dorm came with a toilet and... More

My daughter and i stayed here for 3 nights due to many hotel rooms around Sydney being booked out that weekend. It is definitely in the "hostel/backpacker" category of accomodation, but don't let that put you off.Unlike other hostels it is very quiet. It has a communal kitchen(which we didn't use) but seemed clean, and a communal semi outdoor sitting area.We had a newly... My friend and I booked this accommodation online. The website boasted beautiful comfy rooms, outdoor areas and clean bathrooms. We had driven 9 hours and arrived at a room where someone else's underwear was all over the room, the bathroom was revolting and the floor and limited bed linen was covered in stains. Couldn't get out fast enough.

It's a good option to stay in the city, near Central Station. Nice park in the front, Alfred Park. Clean rooms. Sometimes people, most young people are realy noisy, but the rules are strict, so they cut it off at 11 pm, so it's ok. Good retationship between price:accomodation.

My friends and I spent two nights here over the australia day long weekend. The beds were comfy, there was air conditioning in the room and a sink. The only mirror was on the back of the door with no light but the bathrooms were well lit with a good mirror. There is no smoking Anywhere on the premises. For... More

Arrived at 7:30am when the office was meant to open but the receptionist was 10 minutes late, leaving us outside in the rain. We had just got off an overnight train from Melbourne and wasn't in the best of states, so wasn't a good first impression. I booked the place on Hostel Bookers and it says that you can check... stayed at this hostel for two nights before I decided to leave. There was a cockroach in our bathroom, the sheets were damp and felt wet. The staff were very friendly and they have good rules surrounding noise and making sure it's quiet for people around bed time. When I decided to leave I received a refund of the remaining... More

Stayed here with 2 friends whilst we visited Sydney for two days. It's in a great location from the centre - only two stops on the train (roughly 10 minutes including walking). It's also only a 15 minute walk from China town and has a nice park just opposite. Big scruffy on the outside but on the inside its fine.... More
