We stayed 2 nights. The room was spacious and clean. The staff helpful. The hotel is close to Darling Harbour and Chinatown and the experiences of both. There is easy access to all of Sydney. The room rates are very reasonable for the area and we would stay there again.

I had yet another great stay at APX Darling Harbour! I can certainly recommend this hotel for business travellers. Well kept rooms, with, attentive staff at the front desk (ask for Shri), Free Wi-Fi is available to all guests (slightly slow at times)

The hotel is good and it's very nice place to stay in Sydney while you're in holiday as everything's near and you can walk to, except than the welcoming was too bad , it seemed like the manager doesn't wants guests to be there , may be he's moody but it's his work to make the guest comfortable. Other than... More

A very comfortable apartment with everything I needed, walking distance to most places. When there was an issue with a dog barking in an adjacent building the staff did all they could to address the problem. I also had a couple of requests re my room which the staff obliged. Staff very friendly and helpful; I have two more bookings... More

If you want a good location in Chinatown and close to Darling Harbour then this place is great. However, it is incredibly noisy at night as the apartments are located on a restaurant strip. We also noted that the cleaning of the rooms was not thorough. Each of these points would not deter me from returning except for one major... More

Even with a medical certificate that proves my elderly parents were unfit to travel that was demanded as evidence from the Manager at APX, with well over 6 weeks notice this company would not cancel our bookings and now we have been asked to pay over 1500.00 per room as a cancellation fee. I have been beyond frustrated at their... More

We stayed here two nights. It was a great location and good value for the price. It is right in Chinatown and you can walk to Darling Harbour in 2 minutes. The room was a studio with a little kitchenette which we only used for breakfast. Hotel was quiet and good for sleeping. Didn't really use the balcony as there... More

The location is awesome.. Absolutely perfect for a Sydney visit. Unfortunately that is the only nice thing I can say about this place. Beds were awful. About a million years old and gave me back pain. Staff had a "couldn't give a toss attitude" and really didn't. They didn't service rooms, even after several requests; lifts stunk, Lift pass tokens... More

Have stayed here a few times when travelling to Sydney. Great location walk to Darling Harbour, Chinatown , Chinese Gardens etc. We always fly to Sydney in the morning so usually at the apartment by 10am. Able to leave our luggage in a locked cupboard and start our day early. Have never had a problem at all . Staff have... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
