After reading these reviews on TripAdvisor, my boyfriend and I were a little worried about staying at Aspire. We found a great deal online though and figured we would give it a try. The hotel is in a great location - just a few blocks from the Powerhouse Museum and a short walk to Cocklebay Wharf, Darling Harbour, and Chinatown.... More

Myself and my partner spent a weekend in this hotel, it was booked for us by a family member about a month earlier. Entering the hotel we were met with three alcohol vending machines, a newspaper rack holding the days news paper and a counter to the right with what we found to be generally helpful staff. Checking in or... More

I think this hotel is aspiring to be a high end hotel but is in need of a renovation. Lobby is nice, comfortable and inviting, but thats where it ends. Stayed twice at beginning and end of Oz trip. Both rooms were comfortable and everything was in order but take a glance at the ceiling and there is mould, leak... More

The first room we were put in (room 322) had a broken hair dryer, 1 flat bad pillow for each person, 4 coat hangers for 2 people, poor flushing toilet, air conditioning ineffective (they said their maintenance people set it only to heat in the winter, though it was May) which made the room really stuffy, and the lock on... This hotel offered quality accommodation in inner Sydney for a special deal advance purchase. The advertised one night for 2 people deal was sold for around $130 and the printed voucher said it was worth $245. There were conditions - black out dates and a request for early booking and rooms subject to availability. I wrote asking for a booking... More

In a nutshell, go there. If you want to be close to everything, yet still feel relaxed, this is your hotel. This would be a perfect hotel for an affordable, comfortable and relaxed family getaway to see the sights of Sydney, to anyone who wants to be near everything they need to do in Sydney Above all the customer service... The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from Central Station. Once you figure out which exit to take from the station the hotel is easy to find. As other reviews suggest the reception is dated and dark, but the staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself was large but very dark and again dated, but held 2 comfortable double... More

Could not believe that I could find a hotel room that sleeps 5-6 people, in the heart of the city of Sydney for only $135 during Easter/School holiday period. Parking was only $10 and covered us from 6am on the day of check-in until 6pm the day of checkout! We took advantage and arrived at the hotel at 10.30am and... More

The location is good once we found our way around. Nothing much in the immediate area except the great coffee shop near by where we had breakfast. Mostly things shut for Easter as it is a business area. The rooms are clean and roomy but the common areas leave a lot to be desired. The hotel has signs for restaurants... More

Just checked in and coming from a long days work the hotel reception is nothing to aspire. Very crude and rude. If you can not serve customer right then do not work in the service industry. Forced to stay because company booked it. The Only thing to aspire this time is to check out as early as possible. More
