Only booked this a few days before I arrived in Sidney, and would not have chosen this one if several others had not been full. Certainly not the cleanest kitchen I've been in. The location is average. Overall an okay experience. Some of the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Usually takes a lot for me to write a bad review, but this place more a less tops it. The backpackers who attend it are fine. But, the reception staff , well... are rude and horrid.. depending who's on they don't tend to be a great source of help. Usually with the sarcastic comments or general snappy-ness too. You'll get... Glebe is an artsy area with rows of old houses and a cool, laid back vibe just 15 minutes away from the busy Sydney centre via bus. The shopping centre is a 30 minute walk (or 5 minute bus ride) away as is the harbour with 15 minutes. The bus stop is right next to the hostel. Most people staying... More

Okay so, this hostel you get what you pay for. Unfortunately I was in a ten bed dorm with some people that really didn’t respect sleep or space. I had two dresses stolen from my bag which was frustrating to start with. There are locks on the door but my roommates never locked the doors which again was frustrating. My... More

I would not go back because of the rude night manager who unfortunately works every night. The way he speaks to the guests is unacceptable and not what you would expect from a backpackers manager! The hostel is ok with a great courtyard area. I met some great people there. The location is very good.

Lived here for 4 months. Love the place, great atmosphere, the outdoor seating is perfect for socialising, yes mark the night manager is a nightmare but he almost adds to the charm of the place. The bbq on fridays is sensational, ping pong table and helpful staff. Great peaceful location only 5 minutes from the city with a park just... More

I've stayed here three times- the final time was ok, had an inside room but the people upstairs were really noisy - not because they were doing anything exciting, their floor was wooden and not insulated so simply walking about was really loud. The other two times we had the same room, whilst large and had what we needed, the... More

Lovely hostel that doesnt feel like a soul-less dorm filled concrete block. A nice house with good sized rooms. I stayed here a couple of times and always booked a private room - loved it. The kitchen is decent and there seemed to be lots of people staying here long term which gave it a nice community/family feel. Lovely location... More
