This hostel is in a perfect location, Kings Cross has alot going on with great bars, cafes, restaurants and more. Only a 15/20 min walk to all the attractions aswell. The room was a goodsize with our bin emptied daily, which I havent seen much of since travelling, and were also clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were immaculate and there were... More

The welcoming wasn't very cordial. The kitchen and dining room were nice with a fireplace. The twin room we stayed in was a bit cold as there isn't any central heating. Room was basic and small but okay. Bathrooms were very clean and heated, which was nice. All in all it was a good place to stay but not very special. More

A very friendly hostel with friendly and helpful staff. I loved the cosy kitchen. Great location in Sydney too :) Really nice big bathrooms (obviously recently renovated), clean though a bit old-style room. I would definitely stay there again if I were to go back to Sydney again ! Oh and I heard they have a nice rooftop area, but... More

We stayed in a tiny double room with a window looking at a wall within 2 meters. At 80 dollar we thought this was expensive. The kitchen is very wel equipped except for the amount of stoves and room in the fridge. The bathrooms are spotless but there are too few. There is a very very smalle tv room. The... More

Cons: - Rude checkin staff. My (Aussie) boyfriend was asked for his passport, and told it was a "legal requirement" that they have his passport number on file. When we said there was no way for us to get it we were told to "read emails more carefully" and the lady insisted that it was clearly at the bottom of... More

Its obviously quite expensive to stay as a backpacker in Sydney. Eva's though has prices that decline depending on how long you stay, so thats one positive thing. I paid 28 AUD per night for a weeks stay. Another good thing is that the dorms are quite small (4-6 beds) and all have bathroom ensuite. WIFI is free and fast,... More

After staying in an awfull hostel down the street (G'day Backpackers), I moved to Eva's and thought I was in 'Backpacker Heaven'. I stayed in the Girls Only dorm and had a huge locker in the room, a clean and spacious shower in the dorm, a reading light and a shelf at my bed and a comfortable matras. All of... More

This was my first time staying at a backpackers and I really loved it. The rooms are basic but cleaned on a daily basis. The people are friendly and the roof top has amazing views over the Sydney skyline. The roof is great social area for barbecues and drinks and relaxing during the day with a book. Hope to return... Myself and 3 friends had a great room, a 4 bed dorm with an en-suite. I never saw the bigger dorms so I cannot comment on them. Nice big kitchen, very clean. Lovely rooftop area with great views and a barbecue. We went up there most nights to have dinner and drinks. This area was great for meeting the other... More
