Found this hotel to be great for the price, it was clean and comfortable. Appreciated the electric jug in the room and fridge, as I stayed a few days and was able to keep my snacks fresh. The price was great for the city also.

We were four girls staying here for New Years Eve, a total of nine days. We were lucky to get a hotel, but when we checked in we asked ourselves if this could really be called a hotel. The bathrooms were shared and in the hallway. The room was very tiny with two standard beds and a bunkbed. It was... More

We stayed here for a week. It was conveniently near a relative's place, as well as near to the places we wanted to go to, such as the Fish Market, Chinatown and Darling Harbour. It is certainly nothing to shout about, just a place to sleep. We had a big room that could fit 8 people with 3 bunk beds... More

Great location, just minutes from Darling Harbour by foot, yet reasonable rates. Huge Room, with plenty of space for family of 5. we had multiple bunk beds, offering lots of space to hang out when needed. WiFi was great and many devices all on at once. Beds were not great, and the place shows it's age in wear and tear,... More

An older hotel with character. We booked a share bathroom and for the price it was great. Our room was a little traffic noisy but coming from country NSW we may be a bit more sensitive than others. On night two we closed the window and that was better. But position was fabulous we walked to everywhere. Parking very close... More

Ok lets start by saying it's not the most modern place in Sydney. The location is brilliant and the parking cheap. The room was clean and the lady at the desk was great. Lets be realistic most times when you stay in Sydney you only need somewhere to put your head down as you are out most of the time.... More

This place was atrocious! Everything was wrong, from the entrance to the room. It's impossible to get into the building for the first time and the lady at the desk ignored our several calls while we stood in the poring rain, once we got in she was rude to another stayer. The door is battered and patched. Once we got... More

At $73 for the night is was great value. All other hotels in the area were in the 250-300 range for a night and this was 5 min walk to darling harbour. Bath room in hall way but very clean. The front reception service was far better than I received in 5 star hotels.

We stayed at the Woolbrokers for a couple of days at the start of the new year on recommendation of a friend as we wanted to see the Lion King. We drove down from Dubbo and we were very pleased to find they provided discounted parking just across the street for $13 for 24 hours!!!! We were amazed at the... More

First of all this is not hotel standard, it is hostel standard (but missing some of the benefits of a hostel). As I like to start with the positive here goes: it is clean and in a good location and the male receptionist was very helpful and friendly (shame the rest of his colleagues were not as good). Unfortunately that... More
