Hotel 59 is in the Kings Cross area of Sydney. We were close to restaurants and mass transit. We were also close ( 3 blocks away) to the Red Light District, though there were no issues with this fact. Our room was nice, though small (typical for mid price Australian motels). A nice hot breakfast was included. Staff was friendly... More

Our stay at Hotel 59 was a positive experience. Room #9 was very comfortable, clean, and had ample room for our luggage. The location was ideal for walking to the city centre or for public transportation (bus and subway/train). A delicious hot breakfast with multiple options was included in the price. This is a family owned and run business and... More

It was a very short walk to train and bus service, restaurants close by. It is not the Ritz, but does not claim to be, but it is clean, comfortable and friendly helpful... More

Spent 7 nights here when visiting Sydney and found it to be a perfect base for our trip. Kings Cross train station is 2 min walk away and is easy to navigate - Sydney harbour is reached in 15min or less. Very basic accommodation but good location and price. King's Cross station is 2 blocks away. Don't worry about all the strange activity in the area; everyone keeps to themselves and it is not unsafe. Parking is a hassle; do not bring a car. George makes a nice breakfast. Some days he seems very outgoing and others he seems like not... More

This small hotel is located in a heritage building in the Kings Cross area of Sydney. It is adequately decorated, comfortable and very quiet. The quietude is remarkable as it is close to the nightclub area of Sydney, despite which there is no real noise pollution from the nightclubs to disturb one's slumber. The staff were friendly and helpful, including... More

Hotel 59 is a good value. Room rate is reasonable and includes breakfast. There were some concerns raised by others about the neighborhood. But we were never concerned... More
