This hotel is great value for money. Good location close to many bars and restaurants, but quiet enough for a good nights sleep. The room was clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable 6 night stay. The included breakfast served in the cafe, was cooked to order, with great tasty choices. George was so helpful recommending places to... More

This hotel fits the niche of affordable accommodation in Sydney that is not a hostel. I wanted a private room with my own bathroom in the kings cross area to suit for tour pick-ups. This is exactly what I got. The room itself was tiny but it still managed to contain every possible convenience you would need. Air con, TV,... More

George and everyone at Hotel59 were extremely friendly and helpful. Was planning on walking to Bondi one day but George suggested I walk to Watson Bay instead and get the bus from there to Bondi. Views along the way out to Double Bay and Rose Bay were amazing back over city. Kings Cross, where B&B is situated, is busy at... More

The hotel is in Kings Cross, which has a reputation of being the red light area of Sydney. The area has been cleaned up. It is safe, vibrant and perfect for walking around all the major sights in Sydney. The hotel is fairly basic but clean and very comfortable. It is a small family run hotel. The biggest asset is... Me and my wife stayed at Hotel 59 for a week or so during our honeymoon and were very pleased with the experience. For starters, George, the hotel manager, was out on the street to greet us when we arrived. (Unluckily for him, our plane was delayed by an hour!) There's a free Airport Shuttle bus that takes you directly... More

We have just stayed twice, at the beginning and end of our holiday to Australia. Right from starting our booking the owner, George, was really helpful. Great location, a short walk to Kings Cross station and even shorter walk to bustops to Circular Quay or Watsons Beach or Bondi Beach. Spiro cooks a super breakfast to set you up for... More
