So we booked months in advance for new years 2008/09. All together there were 13 of us, using 2 rooms and a suite. Extortionate prices but then we were expecting that! You cant beat the location. First impressions were "oh no, what have we done!" The front door was old and dirty and unwelcoming, the experience didn't get any better!! I wanted a nice character hotel to have a lovely w/e away. What we got was a dirty pokey room, lumpy mattress and pillows, dirty carpet, thick dust, very small room, no place to put anything.
